anu po maganda para sa model na car na 92-95 car honda esi efi or honda lx carb or ibang car im planning to buy po kc ng car ang di ko po kc alm kung anu mas ok e sa 92-95 model kung carb or efi padin sabi kc nila pag luma na car bka masira daw computer box mahal daw po pagawa please help

ung nissan sentra super saloon siries 4 98-00 model carb type po ba or efi ??

masisisra lang naman ang computer box pag inoverload mo ang system--meaning di tama ang pag-jump-start mo! its alll about rumors! kung ako sa yo, get the newer--go EFI eg civic--ung esi para kung mag-eg9(either ver1 or 2) set up ka, konti nalang dadagdag mo....

dadating ang time na papalitan mo pa nga ung stock d16 ng esi to d16a-vtec or vtec3...... or baka b16a or b18c pa nga,e...

tsaka wala na halos nagtotono ng carb at wala din performance parts para sa carb.

nga pala, get a MT car... hanggat maari, wag AT due to age... mas madali palitan ang clutch disc, release bearing, pressure plate than overhaul ng AT(di naman sa yo sasabihin ng owner kung paano nya talaga inalagaan ung sasakyan,e..)

ill go to carb type madali itono, kahit san kayang gawin basta meron mechanic na gagawa, di gaya ng efi pag nag loko ang engine hahanap ka pa ng mechanic na meron OBD2 para lng ma trace ang sira

EFI has better fuel economy over a wider range of conditions.

Carburetors used to be cheaper to maintain, but now that EFI is the norm, electronic components for EFI cars are cheap enough that the difference is negligible. In fact, it's getting even harder to maintain some carbureted cars due to lack of parts, and you're left to swap out the stock carb for a more common one, which usually doesn't match the engine.

EFI of course, and if you gonna ask me why, because 1. it was recognized as more fuel-efficient because it atomized the air/fuel mixture into a perfect cloud and didn't waste a single drop of gasoline, that's why it produce more power than carburated engine do 2. easy to maintain, no need to clean like some carburator powered car owners do (yun nga lang it is more complicated, difficult to install and repair at mahal ang replacement). 4.As related to what I say in no.1 fuel injectors boost gas mileage as well as power; lower gas emissions; and make the car easier to start in cold weather

definitely EFI is better in terms of performance. It is more accurate in metering the air/fuel mixture. It will depend though on what car you are referring to. If it is a classic car then a carburetor will be the better choice mainly because it looks the part for that period restoration but also because of cost. Some companies started developing EFI systems for classic cars like the classic Minis but they cost you an arm and a leg since these are low volume production items but they are indeed brilliant systems. Carburetors for me is just for that needed nostalgia on classic cars. The sound of Weber DCOEs growling under the bonnet of your car is just music to the petrolhead's ears!

Yup. To maintain the optimal FC on our aged Sentra B13 with a carb, i have to clean the air filter and adjust the a/f and idling every so often (maybe once every three months). My EFI Altis will always keep a constant FC even if its due for servicing. Drive up to high places where atmospheric pressure changes, you have to readjust the carb. With EFI, nothing doing.

Pros:
Carbs are much easier to adjust, and especially to get more power out of. Cheap to fix, rebuild and easy to trouble shoot.

Fuel Inj. is more precise, less pollution as the computer is constantly changing air fuel ratio to optimum. More fuel efficient as well.

Cons:
Carbs aren't very efficient, they can't make changes on the fly like fuel inj. can.

Fuel Inj. needs a much higher fuel pressure, which makes line routing and integrity very important. The injectors themselves have small orifices, which can be easily clogged by crud passing filter or scale build up. Fuel injection is expensive, and so is testing or replacing components.

... and fuel injection will not keep your car running if you flip it, as your gas tank siphon is mounted on the bottom of the tank,.
