Troubleshooting my power windows

sasakyan ay 99 isuzu crew cab pickup (fuego)

concentrate na lang muna ako sa front windows (driver's & passenger side).

25 A fuse is ok.
Power window relay is bad pero napalitan ko na.

wiring is good on the switch harness side. battery voltage is applied, good ground, continuous circuit on the power window wiring.

driver's side motor reads 120 ohms. applied batt voltage directly to it, no response. so motor is bad.
passenger side motor reads almost zero ohms. with batt voltage applied, window moves on up and down. so passenger side motor is good.

problema ay ayaw gumalaw (as in walang response ti konti man lang) na kung yung mga switches sa may master/driver's side at passenger side (ganun din sa likod) ang ginamit. checked the ground, ok naman.

sinubukan ko tignan ang laman loob ng switch, aba e kumplikado din pala. may IC, capacitor, resistor, atbp.

any help please! DIY ako ngayon. ayoko magpunta muna sa mga "Banawe power windows" dito sa probinsya dahil malamang papalitan nila ang buong wiring neto which is tingin ko mahusay pa.

may nakasulat na auto sa switch ng driver's side window. the rest wala. so meron, tama ba?

regarding window lock switch, sinubukan ko rin. wala pa rin response sa bawat window kahit nakaunlock na.

i suspect ok pa switch kahit na bopols ako sa electronics nun. kasi imposible naman sabay sabay bumigay.

mapapatawad ko na yung motor ng driver side e busted na dahil most of the time yun ang nagagamit.

recheck ko uli bukas. baka may nakaligtaan ako sa wiring checks ko.

judging sa condition ng panel cover ng doors e may nagkutingting na pero hindi naman naabuso ang wiring.

kabibili ko lang kase netong kabayo kong eto.

rechecked all wiring harnesses. tugma lahat ng readings ko sa sinasabi ng troubleshooting manual.

tapos biglang gumana na passenger side window. i don't know exactly kung pano nangyari. bukod sa ginawa kong wiring check (voltage & continuity) e niretorque ko yung bolt ng body ground sa may right kick panel (passenger).

after the passenger front window, dumako nako sa rear right window. wiring checks fine (voltage & continuity). checked the motor continuity, zero ohms so therefore ok. further checked it by applying battery voltage to it, aba bumaba si bintana. nireverse ko polarity, lecheng motor ayaw umakyat. kinabahan ako dahil open parking tong location at the moment. nung nilubriicate ko sliding parts like the plastic pulleys, cables, guide, weatherstrip tapos pinukpok yung motor body e umakyat na ng walang kahirap hirap.

kaso kapag gamit na yung switch e ayaw. rechecked the contacts, mukhang ok.

regarding sa master switch (driver's), e parang may kumaskas na dati dun sa contacts ng circuit board.

if all else fails, meron kaya nabibiling mechanical switch. i mean e yung simpleng switch na wala nang IC, diodes, resistors, capacitors , etc.?????

uy wag naman yun. i mean e ganun pa rin yung hitsura pero wala nang complex electronics underneath.

yung mga napapanood ko kasi sa you tube (kaso mga foreign cars nga lang), e simpleng copper boards, contacts lang.

wala pako time this week para dumako sa mga surplusan e.

sige doc, bili ako contact cleaner..... ang isa pang hindi ko nachecheck pala e yung wiring harness sa may hamba ng pintuan. parati pa naman nagfflex yun lalu na sa driver's side.

anyway, update uli ako sa susunod kung may progress na.

update:

nilinis ko na switches using contact cleaner (abro brand), smells like brake cleaner.

ayaw pa rin gumana. may nararamdaman akong click on the rear left switch. yung rear right e no feelings. stone cold.

nilinis ko rin master switch. ayaw din. pero yung power door locks gumagana pa rin naman.

yung front right window, ok pa rin naman. hoping tatagal pa iyon.

btw, di ko pa chineck yung wires sa may door jambs pero ok naman readings sa may harness side (yung connection sa may switch). so i think the wires on the door jambs are ok.

panahon na siguro para maghanap ng replacement switches.

tanong lang po, how do you fix yung issue na parang sumasabit yung glass pag pasara na? is there a special oil needed for this or pwede na yung Singer all purpose oil? thanks po

grasa at wd 40 ginamit ko sa guides, plastic pulleys at cables.

sa weatherstripping e diko mahanap (na naman) yung silicone grease ko. kaya yung microtex spray ang ginagamit ko pansamantagal. e binasa ko yung instructions nya e silicone din ang isa sa ingredients nya. so pupwede kako.

baka misaligned yung links, glass saddle ng iyo bro.

pero nangyari kahapon yan dun sa passenger side window ko. patigil tigil habang paakyat. baka connection issue or the motor itself. pero kung pababa e smooth naman. nung umandar makina e smooth naman na yung paakyat ng window.

12 volts ba talaga ang kelangan nung window motors? kung 12 volts e baka magpadesign at magpa-etch na lang ako ng pcb sa kaibigan kong ece....using the same switch (kasama na yung silicone pads). mas reliable na siguro yung ganun.

kung hinde e no choice kundi bumili ng kumplikadong electronic circuit board.

12 volts ba talaga ang kelangan nung window motors? kung 12 volts e baka magpadesign at magpa-etch na lang ako ng pcb sa kaibigan kong ece....using the same switch (kasama na yung silicone pads). mas reliable na siguro yung ganun.

kung hinde e no choice kundi bumili ng kumplikadong electronic circuit board.

ECE pala friend mo, pa-diagnose mo kaya muna yung circuit board sa p/w switch, nang malaman ano papalitan sa mga electronic component. Baka burnt out lang rectifier diode, leaky capacitor or replace IC lang.

e kapag nakauwi nako sa probinsya namin.....nasa ibang lugar kasi ako ngayon. kaya ginagawa ko muna kung anong magagawa. mahirap ding ibyahe ng malayo ng di gumagana ang power windows. wag lang bumigay A/C ko.

Ganito rin halos yung problema ko, yung driver side umaakyat ng mag-isa minsan - pag nangyari ito inoperable na for sometime yung driver side window. Intermittent ito, minsan ok naman.

Nag trace na ako ng lines and so far ok naman, nagpalit na rin ako ng surplus motor since nasunog yung original ka, probably may connection dun sa issue na umaakyat mag isa.

Nilinisan at binaklas ko na rin yung master switch. Pumipitik naman yung relay pag cinocontrol ko yung driver side window pero di bumababa.

ok yung p/w relay nung akin. may konting init nga lang.

yung mga switch (master at rear left) e pumipitik pero poker face mga bintana.

after a serious analysis & troubleshooting (naks!), kumbinsido nako na yung mga switch ang problema ko.

dahil relative high current draw ang power window motors, ang isa sa nakita ko pang nagpalala ng problema e yung carbon tracking. lahat ng switch at harness meron neto. halos maubos na contact cleaner ko at leha kakalinis.
