maki-ride narin ako.. since headlights din ang discussion.
hmm..
my car's an altis 2002 (hb4 lows; hb3 highs)
initially stock
then switched to 100w superwhites
then one went kaput, melting my left socket as well.
then changed the socket and bulbs to 55w superwhites
then added a hella relay kit and switched back to 100w.
now, i bought a 50w hid and it worked properly the first 3weeks.
then the left side would sometimes work (meaning most of the time hindi sumisindi)
one night ago, both hids wont work but my high beams are working. (another set of bulbs) tried to ignite them, ayaw talaga.
i dont know if its because i bought the HID dirt cheap and came with a faulty ballast or the relays just gave up. (for the meantime, i unplugged the power from the ballast)
just wondering, how much would relays run? and what other parts might be damaged?
thanks.

November 30th, 2008 04:00 PM #17it's probably the ballasts themselves or the connectors. have it inspected.
normally all the cheaper hid brands will have sockets compatible with one another so fixing it shouldn't be that hard.
