yung car ko honda civic vtec 3 2002 model. hindi kasi gumagana ung low beam nya. pg high beam ok nmn. tnry ko na i tap directly s baterya to check kung ok pa ung bulbs. ok p nmn. bigla nalang kasi nawala yun habang ngdrive ako. ano kaya most probable cause non? and san kya recommended shops na kaya gawin un. ngtry kasi ako sa banawe ang gusto e irewire n agad, tapos palitan ko dw ng mas mataas n wattage ng bulb. pag mas mataas dw kasi wattage hindi daw kayanin ng stock n wiring. masusunog lng daw un. padvise nmn. thanks.

Baka naman pinalitan mo na lowbeam HL mo tas di mo napalitan yung wiring mo at nasunog ?

Totoo sinabi sayo, pag mas mataas wattage at stock pa rin yung wiring mo. Sunog talaga yan

Sa auto electrical shop mo dalin mas kabisado nila tungkol sa lighting system ng sasakyan at wiring nito .Madali nila ma trace kung bakit ayaw gumana iyong low beam mo.

    Original bulbs since 2002?

Mostlikely it is a busted bulb, one of the filaments may have been busted due to normal wear and tear, lalo na if you run on low beams all the time like I do. Buy a new set.

    jeromealbert,
your headlight system uses one headlight relay for the LH and one relay for the RH side. they both share the same grounding point G401. if the headlight works on high beam, it means the relays are okay and the ground 401 is okay. the problem lies in the combination switch. if you have the patience and tenacity to take it out of the car and clean the contacts, 99% of the time the low beam problem is solved.

on that missing 1%, try grounding the wire on terminal 6 of the combination switch. the wire insulation color is red with white tracer. if the low beam works this way, now you have completed the diagnosis procedure and found the combination switch the culprit
