Amaron battery

Mine's just 2.5 years old (Nov. 2018) but still has 100% SoH.

If this was a Motolite, it'll probably be in its last legs, if not already dead.

Mine lasted only 4 years

But the last 6 months was lockdown so that probably killed the battery early

In our cars that has Amaron, 3 of them lasted 4 yrs, 1 of them lasted 5 yrs. We're all believers of Amaron. Even our Lexus NX200t, after the stock battery died last yr during ECQ, we changed it to Amaron. Our Wigo also was changed to Amaron last yr also after showing signs of low batt.

Only one of our cars won't have Amaron once it'll be changed. That's my mom's BMW X1 since it requires an AGM battery either by Varta or Optima

Energizer has AGM that should cost lower. You might wanna check w/ our good brother, Wh1stl3r, when the need arises.

The prices Energizer offers their EFBs & AGMs for, they're worth a try....
Besides, Johnson Controls just recently sold off their automotive batt division where both Varta & Optima belong....Blame the combo of the pandemic & the onset of the electric age. Dunno where Clarios(Brookfield Biz Partners) will take those brands....
