Amaron battery

I have a feeling yung mga sinaunang Amaron matibay (like mine na 7 yrs old na)

Thanks to Tsikot, I'm glad I made the switch from Motolite to Amaron. Motolite ko parang may timer na mamatay just few days after the warranty expires

Sikat nga yan Jawe dito sa board. If I were from QC, I'd go there too

Ang ganda pa ng Amaron, pag bukas ng hood kitang kita yung neon green. Nung bago pa Amaron, pag bukas ng hood sa casa, sabi "wow, amaron" hahaha!

that's how my batteries die.
i couldn't start the car, a few hours after i turned off the engine.
once, i couldn't start it, 10 minutes after i shut off the engine. nagpa-tulak ako sa mga gaards...

My contingency is a pair of jumper cables.... A/T kasi.

OOT: Back in my youth, Diesels can go everywhere without a battery. My dad's then "big body" Ford Fiera went several weeks with a dead battery. Tinutulak lang nung mga pahinante. I know because yan din pang hatid-sundo sa akin sa school for a while. I had to seat up front because it's a delivery/closed van. In retrospect, that infernal vehicle had no seat belts, no doors, and the only thing between you and the outside world was a 1-inch stainless hand rail.

Yup. That goes without saying. Modern engines in general have gone to rely on electronics for better reliability, efficiency, and emissions control. Though if you push them, I'm sure they'll still run fine without a battery. But in any case, it is not recommended.

Hmmm. Siguro somewhere ranging from 3-4 years each. Not really sure, will have to check the receipts if makita ko sir. Have been usinf Amaron since 2012-2013 ata. sorry medyo magulo ata sagot ko doc.

Yan nga rin kinakatakot ko na feedback with motolite. Pagkatapos daw ng warranty saka papalya.
Kaya lang no choice talaga ako, literal iniwan talaga ako ng asawa ko at naglakad nalang pauwi. Naiwan ako sa Q Plaza to wait for the
motolite delivery guy. Pasalamat nalang ako naka-park nang maayos kami at hindi nakaabala ng ibang tao that time. Haha

The Amaron on our Sorento died and bloated 2 months before its warranty expired. It was replaced and we are good with it.

On a different note, the Amaron Hi-Life (21 months warranty) on my FXT is still good even though it is 2 and a half years old already (bought January 2018).

baka ang alternator/regulator mo ang may problema, baka yung regulator ng alternator sumosobra sa 15volts parati

Yung Motolite Gold sa Jetta namin died more than a month after its warranty expired. We replaced it with Amaron Pro (24 months warranty) and it is even cheaper than its equivalent Motolite Gold (21 months warranty), 6900 vs 7500.

Longest i had was 7 years.
Shortest was 30 months.

Average is about 4 years

Honestly, wala. Gulat nga ako when i was checking car records na sobra luma na pala. I had it replaced last year na din kasi either senior ang gumagamit or wife ko. Mahirap hindi magstart kasi matic. Mahirap din irescue kasi mauuna magpanic.

Only last year nung nagstart ako mag trickle charging sa garahe...

Regarding your 7 years battery, were you using your car everyday or everyweek? or it was just parked in the garage?
