Maraming salamat sa lahat ng feedback about Amaron. I am a Motolite user for so long and I was actually trying to decide if I should switch to Amaron. Based on the 168 pages of comments (wow!), I feel that sticking with Motolite is the right thing to do. IT has an excellent after market support. Isang tawag lang. Wala pang palya and help is always there. No questions-asked returns. It is proudly Philippine-made. More jobs for Filipinos. They recycle their components! (Motolite, PBSP mark a decade of recycling plan - SUNSTAR). I saw some comment about Motolite recycling components as if it is a bad thing. IT actually is a good thing. Recycling is the way to go. Masyado nang maraming basura sa bansa natin. Recycled battery components is good for the environment IMO. There. My 2cents.

Everybody recycles battery. May bumibili nyan sa mga talyer at battery shops.
Amaron now also delivers with credit card also.

However, Motolite is not stepping up on their product quality. Pricing is also significantly more expensive than Amaron. Yes, the 24/7 hotline is good, but having more than one vehicle and an Amaron outlet not too far away, I find that benefit to be negated.

I'd gladly buy proudly Philippine made, if they match Amaron quality.

it is "difficult" to compare performance statistics of one brand's few thousand experiences, versus several tens of thousands of experiences from the competing local brand.
especially if only a few such experiencers take the effort to post their experiences.
most users with good experience, would not go out of their way to make their good vibes known. but if one has bad experience, that one would want to advertise his bad experience.
one complains about bad behavior. one does not complain good behavior.
    human nature.

    example.
1000 amaron users. 2 reported bad eggs.
10,000 motolite users. 20 reported bad eggs.
if one did not take into account the 1000 and 10,000 denominator numbers, one might come to the conclusion that, based on number of complaints, motolite is 10 times worse than amaron.

    my thoughts only.

Johnson Controls gave the Amaron brand its reputation for long lasting batteries. That may not be the case for Amaron's future...

Amaron battery ko sa everest is 4.5 years. Ok pa rin. I think aabot ng 5 years. Forester ko switched to amaron na rin going to 2.5 years na. All ok. Sana mag improve quality ng motolite. Warranty getting shorter.

Decided to get Amaron hi-life after my NS 60 motolite gold lasted on for exactly 2 years. Hopefully this will last longer than motolite.

Whooaa! Laking battery yan ah. Para sa anong sasakyan yan? Malamang Euro yan or Ford. Malamang nasa 8k to 9k yang DIN88.

The Ecoboost models of the Fiesta and Focus uses big battery sizes (DIN66 or DIN74). They cost between 7k to 8k. For Amaron, they are only available in Pro (24 months warranty) unlike smaller battery sizes which are available in Go (17 months) or Hi-Life (21 months).

Puwede rin Ford Explorer or Expedition. The Explorer Sport share the same engine as the Expedition (3.5L V6 Ecoboost).

Motolite and Amaron are priced around the same for batteries in DIN sizes. Panasonic is cheaper than the other two. However, not all battery retailers carry DIN sizes.

I check the specs of Amaron Hi-Life 2SM and Amaron Go 3SM and they have almost the same specs and minimal price difference. If you were to choose do you go with hi-life or go?
