Amaron battery

tumawag ako sa Metrobat kanina 4.3k tapos minus 200 for trade in for 2SM.
sa Minerva naman sa alabang 4.5k walang trade-in.
saan pa ba meron mura sa alabang or paranaque area?
pwede ko lang ba ibenta yung battery ko sa mga nagbebenta ng motolite batteries kung sakali sa minerva ako makabili?

Sir, ibenta nyo na lang sa junk shop yung battery nyo, last month nagpalit ako ng battery, kinukuha sa kin ng 300 for trade in, nabenta ko ng 530 dun sa junk shop malapit sa work ko.

I missed out on this Amaron two years ago.

Now my Motolite Excel is exhibiting a weaker (not necessarily hard) cranking start (vs. the one I'm used to from when I bought the excel new until about late last year). The batt shop checks it and says that my alternator (a flood free 06 Fort Gas w/15K mileage only) is not charging the batt properly. So I bring it Jemson who after checking/inspecting it, says the alternator is fine. He said it could be the batt not getting fully charged.

I still have warranty until june, but I think its hard to claim warranty if the batt shop insists its my alternator.

i might finally get to try Amaron soon.

btw, i got my battery last week in Minerva Alabang.
The 2SM Amaron cost 4.5k with no trade-in.
After installing the battery I just went to the closest junk shop I can find and sold it for 300 lang. Ayos narin so parang 4.2k nalang. nakatipid narin sa tollgate and gas going to makati.

mga sirs ask lang pwede ba i-upgrade yun 2sm oem battery ng 2010 montero into a 3sm? plan ko sana amaron 3smf hi life ang ipalit ko, wala bang magiging problema sa alternator at sa battery charging? pati maliit din yun oem battery tray sa 3sm amaron,
any ideas pano ang magandang diskarte mga bosing? thanks

I installed 3SMF hi life on my Strada. The tray need cutting on the side facing the firewall... Well, should be fine.

^ sir thanks ilan months na amaron mo? Hope u can post pic of the tray... Any idea where to buy cheaper tray for a 3SM amaron?(P890 casa price)

4 months pa lang sir... yon lang mismong side na facing the firewall ang tatanggalin... tas lalagpas ang battery ng mga 1 to 1.5 inch. di na ko naghanap pa ng 3SM tray... kasi yong ni cut naman na portion eh sa side ng fw. ok lang naman 2SM kaya lang me sound setup ako, so for added juice, i bite the 3SM route.

^ sir ikaw nlng ba ang nag cut ng tray or yun sa battery shop? Tempting to upgrade with 3sm bec of bigger advantage vs. the 2sm considering P800 diff lang nmn..;)

Sorry to ask this mga kaibigan, pero may mga "FAKE" na AMARON ba na lumalabas sa ating market? I don't want to name the establishment but they are giving Amaron 2SM for a very low price. Paano kaya ito? Should I go for it? Nagbibigay naman din sila ng warranty na 36mos kaso medyo natatakot ako dahil sa baba ng presyo nila.

If may warranty naman bakit ka matatakot? Pwera na lang kung fly-by-night store yan.. Kung sa tingin mo its ridiculously cheap, you can also re-inquire to double check the price, baka naman nagkamali lang ng tingin sa pricelist..

21mos din warranty nila. Tumawag ako sa Pollux at na-verify ko na legit at authorized distributor sila ng Amaron.
