anyway, fuel, petron ako lagi eh, because of my PetronBPI. dami kasi promos ng BPI. ehehe

pansin ko, in house kuha mo?

ako kasi thru Bank P.O. 165k cash out, 14.5k for 59 months.

800k lang kasi noon, the Comfort Model.

Mahirap kasi talaga ipag compare ang Haima7 and Vios, i mean for roughly the same money, you get a much bigger car. ehehe

    Thanks Slapz.

Yes, got it through in-house financing. 135K all-in down and 20,100 for 60 months. Does your 165K include the CM, LTO, and Insurance? If yes, your total cost is 1.27% of the base price while mine is 1.35%. If I had the same deal as yours, I would have paid 78000 less from total cost of ownership. I was gonna go for the bank but I would down at least 250K. Looks like your interest is 34% while mine is 39.5%. I really want to buy a car now because I don't know how to save.

We can compare the FC once I get to drive already - maybe in 3 week's time.

I'm not really in a hurry because I'm still going through driving lessons, just had my first 2 hours earlier this morning. Reckless driver daw ako sabi nung nagtuturo. Hehehe. Sabi niya kasi sa akin, stay at 20KPH, I was so bored with that speed that I tried to speed up sa mga kurbahan, ayun napagalitan ako.

I want to share my experience as a first-time buyer for those first-time buyers who might be reading this thread too. As I was saying, I actually had two primary choices, Vios 1.5G and Haima 7. Since we also have a Mitsubishi dealership in Baguio, I also tried to look at the Mirage G4. I visited them all in one day and left my number. Only Haima has contacted me to follow-up if I was interested. I said yes and signed an application form (Sunday afternoon - they were in SM). On Monday, I already got phone calls from Haima Financing, BPI, and East West. They were asking me to submit documents; I contacted the SA to clarify if I should submit to them separately, he said he'll take care of it so I just gave the documents to him (except the COE) on Wednesday. I was actually delayed because my company cannot process my COE on time due to a system issue. I finally was able to submit all the documents on Friday morning. Friday afternoon, I already got an approval from East West. This Saturday morning, I went to the dealership to pay the down.

My experience was good so far, at least two people were following up with me (the sales agent and the sales supervisor). I was offered to be driven to the dealership because it's in the outskirts of the city but I said I'll go there myself (didn't want to disturb them because they have a mall show). The personnel in the dealership were also kind; I liked the way the dealt with us. They were very accommodating – you know a person who tries hard to show care (typical of sales ladies in department stores) and those who have genuine concern to help. I am in the service business so attitude and demeanor are important to me. They just MESSED UP one thing – the car color. I was set the expectation that all colors are available in the casa (I wasn’t able to verify because I was only looking at the Haima 7 displayed in the mall). So I was eyeing for gray only to find out, for some unexplained reason, that they chose the amber gold color for me. I have no idea where that came from because that would have been the last color I would choose. However, maybe blessing in disguise, there was a black unit that was just delivered. They convinced me to consider that. My wife and I stood there for a good 10 minutes going around the car and not saying a word. Then we decided, it looks pretty good in black, so we agreed. After finally deciding to get the black color, they would have now to redo a lot of documents they already printed that had the information about the car, looks like some serial numbers or product numbers and the color. I would have to go back next week to ensure that happened and to discuss my monthly payments too. As I was saying, the location is in the outskirts of the city so it’s close to impossible to get a cab. They were kind enough to drive us to the area where we can get one easily.

I cannot speak to the quality of service for Laus Group in general but if this is the standard service they provide as a company, I would say, they should continue doing and ensuring that. They have created a “promoter” out of me (if you want to know more, Google Net Promoter Score).

In choosing to buy Haima, I am aware of the following risks or disadvantages but I still bought one because of the service.
    1. It will have lower resale value. In 5 years, the Vios would still probably cost around 600K while I saw a Haima 7 repo purchased this year that only costs 425K.
    2. I am not assured of parts availability.
    3. I will live with the stigma of a Chinese car and an unproven (in Slapz’s words) brand.
    4. I will be asked countless questions that start with “Bakit hindi nalang yung…”

So consider me Guinea Pig #2, AT edition. I will continue to post my experiences with this car along with some photos once I get it.

Maiba ako, Sir Slapz, anong fuel ang gamit mo?
Thats good to know sir that you availed na pala sa Baguio branch namin. As part of Laus Auto Group tinuro kasi nila to serve with sincerity sa mga customers nila. Though hindi naman lahat siguro ng dealership could practice that pero we are proud to say na sa Haima, we have a good customer service na i hope pinpractice din ng lahat ng branches namin.
If ever you have questions padin you could contact me at my number. Walang problema yun. Balitaan niyo kami sir if narelease niyo na at ano yung positive at negative feedbacks niyo sa Haima 7.

Hello guys, finally have found time to update you. I got the car on December 4. I've been spending some time since then to learn how to drive with a driving school (total of 6 hours) then practiced on my own. I finally got my non-pro license last December 13 and I'm proud that I've passed the assessment and the driving test with integrity (no fixers, I went through the process on my own).

What I liked so far with the car:
    1. It has a heater and this is something useful in Baguio on December and January months.
    2. The auto-folding side mirrors - I found this useful in a "siksikan" situation in Session Road due to heavy traffic.
    3. The controls illuminate (audio controls, light controls, gear selectors) if the headlights are on.
    4. It has TPMS.
    5. The ride is generally smooth even when passing a lot of potholes in some areas.
    6. The spare tire looks the same as the original tires.
    7. The tools are "mounted" in a foam like thing so they don't make a clanking sound.
    8. Backing sensors really help a lot in parking (although I still really suck at this).
    9. It has a manual option (helpful in steep inclines).
    10. I like the leather arm rests (meron din sa may left side).

What I didn't like so far with the car:
    1. My car tint (I should really blame myself here. I put too dark tints in front I could not see the side mirrors clearly at night).
    2. The doors don't auto-lock (it says it the manual it should but never did).
    3. I find the cargo space smaller than I would have wanted (my friends say it's because the spare tire is actually inside and not pushed down the car - may iniikot daw in some cars para ibaba ung spare tire).
    4. The fuel efficiency. I can only travel around 30-40kph due to my route (I live within the central business district and I have no choice but pass through traffic in at least two areas even if I go for an alternate route). There are also a lot of uphill and downhill slopes and a lot of braking due to curves on my way to work. I don't open windows as my colleagues have advised to ensure my interior does not get dirty so my aircon is on 90% of the time. I hope some of you can still provide suggestions because this FC is killing my wallet. I was also looking at other fuels like Blaze or just the regular Unleaded. The instruction says 93 octane or better.
    FUEL = Petron XCS
    TRIP = 313 KM
    REFUEL = 57.86 L
    KM/L = 5.40

Thanks Slapz, I will on my PMS na siguro, nasa 500+ na rin ODO ko. 2500K ang first PMS. As far as the wall, binalikan ko, may "black eye" galing sa pintura ko so hinayaan ko na. Kawawa naman. Hehehehe.

BTW, marami na rin sales Haima Baguio. I was the 99th customer daw. They sold 60+ na Haima 7, the rest yung ibang models na nila. This is good for you and me. Hehehe. Also, I see at least one Haima car everyday especially in John Hay, meron at least 1 nakapark (palagi kasi ako doon).

Nga pala, I believe I read na meron kang Petron-BPI card. Would you advise me to get one? Sulit ba talaga? I was reading the benefits from their site pero as a user, what benefits you most?

I have a Metrobank card at this time walang ganyan eh.

syempre naman sulit yung Petron-BPI. 3% is 3%. but you check first if yung petron station na pinupuntahan mo is a participating one, baka kasi hindi sayang lang.
tapos sa BPI meron pang 2k, 6k, 12k promo ngayon, jollibee treats. So meron ako jollibee for every full tank pa. ehehe

Sige check ko. Thanks for the heads up.

Iniisip ko lang, if I get a BPI Credit Card tapos I will pay annual membership fee of around 1500, may 1500 total kaya akong makukuha?

Also, ilang PSI yung tire pressure mo?

    clunking sound. hmm...
