I once saw a Chana Benni near Trinoma. Napa second look talaga ako. I was like, "European car ba yun? Anong oto yun?" Nagandahan ako sa exterior nya. Malinis at maganda mga detalye.Tama yung sinabi ng C! Mag na it may just be the nicest looking mini sub in the market today.

I was really interested with the Benni. for the price you get 2 airbags and abs. but apparently im not getting one because of the wife, she hates cars that arent manufactured by either european, japanese or american companies.

But still i decided to give the Benni a chance, I thought of making my wife a believer. I visited their showroom get a feel of the benni. I was disappointed to know that the manaul with abs only has drivers side airbag and the automatic with dual airbags doesnt have abs (my company requires dual airbags WITH abs) It was a lost cause but I still got inside and tried locking the doors to get the feel of the cabin, it was good, much like a korean car. Then i wanted to get outside, i apparently pulled the door lock off and i cant get out of the vehicle. I had to knock on the window to get the salespersons attention. My wife just laughed, its not a very pleasant experience.

after that i totally forgot about chinese cars.... maybe next time, maybe 10 more years.

2. Hundai i10
3. Hundai Getz
4. Probably the Benni

Thank you for the reply. Can you give a more comprehensive review, such as feul comsumption, any unwanted sounds or creeks inside the cabin, is it easy to drive, do you like the car personally, etc...?

How about list of things that got repaired or replaced? How long have you owned it? How much have you used it?

Again thank you, it's sad that not too many owners are commenting. I think I had seen about 2 Benni's along vito cruz. It would really help potential buyers to decide whether we would want to jump in the Chinese car craze.
