Well alright.
Sige.
Peace.![]()
For me their no perfect vehicle.. even the most expensive vehicle has a problem.. O.T.see this webpage http://www.mukamo.com/ferrari-f430-c...re-along-slex/..
Parehas nito more than $ 100,000k presyo nito.. isipin mo bang magkakaganito... we have our opinion.. kanya kanyang taste lang yan.. sabi nga ng kano "mind your own" and "scratch your own"..![]()
no brand and car model is exempted...!! still there is that chance present whatever price you pay...
its ok to give our opinions, views and facts regarding the topic Channa Benni which is now under "fire" of criticism... but let us limit our selves on giving our own opinions and not to the point we directly say "do not buy these coz it will cost your life" this i think is unfair!! we cannot prevent people from buying something for them is a great item....
so what if they waste their 430K?? its their money anyway...
OT: even though safety is a concern but why some of us still buying motorcycles?? its because they want it no matter how you tell them its not safe...
They would. Like I've said, that's a legitimate concern. If that's what you've come in here to say... thank you. That's a valuable contribution. Like I've said... I kind of understand where TGP is coming from, as I've witnessed, firsthand, the electrical gremlins in Chinese made vehicles.
But you? You're just annoying, and possibly the worst kind of troll there is... an intelligent one. You come in here pretending to be "barok":
Which is possibly a valid complaint, observation... but couched in trollish language...
And then go into a tirade designed solely to invite argument:
Deliberately provoking argument with other members... which is trolling... which is a bannable offense...
And then you go into some weird ass-ness about Chana design piracy and... oh... you can actually speak ingles? :hysterical:
And still deliberately provoking other members...
Wait... I thought you were barok in da ingles? And yet, despite pretending to be apologetic... you still go off-topic... So what's wrong with Mandaluyong? Again? Just looking for another fight? (which nobody seemed to buy... or bother responding to... ahh... losing your appeal, already? OB never lost his appeal!).
But don't flatter yourself, like you did here:
This isn't the only argument on tsikot now... wasn't the first, won't be the last... and... *yawn*... will I remember you as fondly as oldblue?
Yes, the readers have brains. I don't care if you bash the Benni to hell and back, as long as we can have a constructive conversation in this thread. But you, with your chameleon-like behavior... misrepresentation... rabble-rousing, etcetera... are preventing that. If you enjoy a fight, start a religion thread in off-topic. At least there you won't trip up on the more stringent rules in this part of the forum. Suggestion: start another "creation versus evolution" thread. Read it. It'll make you feel unpopular.
If you've changed, prove it. No more rumor-mongering... just give us the straight facts and be done with it.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
You should be aware that the SOY SAUCE-like smell may be caused by some CARCINOGENIC emissions (e.g. Benzene and Toluene) from the plastic. Even the sales manager couldn't explain the funny scent- but he did acknowledge the presence of such.
It is very irrritating to the nose and I believe is a DANGER to our health.
In their article early this August, the PDInquirer reporter had to open up all 4 windows to release the foul odor.
That, for a person who is shelling out P430,000 is a very legitimate problem.
In fact, anything that could potentially SHORTEN your life is of great concern.
kahit anong brand pa yan, it will eventually breakdown, depende nalang sa maintenance mo. heck even a merc or BMW even a rolls royce/bently or ferrari burns, breaks...but still people respect them kasi kilalang brand na. o why there is no bashing in the volvo and audi VW threads.. auto-prominence did not give good aftersales support and viking cars do their best to solve the problem of their volvos.
again, lets point out the venture. nice van, MBT can tell you his tale about it. optra.. most owners despise the guzzling 1.6L! and so forth...
people complain without even askin if there is a real owner..dami nang chinese brand cars sa road natin, do they bother here in the forum... maybe...
ok, medyo nagresearch ako sa chana line up, layo lang kasi ng dealership nila for me to run a test drive of their units. the 1.3L engine is almost identical engine that you find in your SUZUKI JIMNY, same 80HP, 120NM.. the difference lang is the bore and stroke. that is according to the papers. so engine parts not much of a problem, there is support.
the body- most of the minivan's underskin may have similarities sila sa mga used refurbished second hand-converted vans nila. di pa ako nakakasilip throughly underneath what we could see, but i fel na may japanes counterparts na parts nit on our market, a matter of "as-per-sample" thing---same thing that you do in your current car when you're buying parts... dinadala mo muna yung part bago ka bumili for a perfect fit at iwas balik.
mostly what differs cars are the exterior body and interior trims, panels, headlight dun lang nagkaiba...underneath may part yan that your local supplier can provide..take for instance the chevrolet cassia and the suzuki esteem... practically the same. another example is the local wira and the lancer (92-96/98 model)..
point lang is theres too much bashings sa mga chinese cars na mostly nagcocoment ay mga kakaunti lang pagkakaintindi sa kotse. just like the time na pinagtatawan nyu ag mga gawang hapon and/or koreano noong una sila pumasok sa market..bakit ngayon, sinsamba na sila?
about sa pricing.. na should cost this... that.. hello, di nyu ba sinasam ang govertment taxes duties na binabayaran ng isang CBU unit?? most chinese brand are cbu a.. kaya mahal talaga taxes nyan... and most kilalang brands natin, tinipid version na, locally assemble pa...maraming add-on sa price ng kotse na unlike na mag-buy-sell ka lang..
and lastly, DI AKO AHENTE
Hey cool it nicky!
I said PEACE!.
Come to think of it, in the Solomonic way of thinking, you are probably just as annoying as I am depending on the view of the person reading this thread. Remember people come here not only to hear the good things in life or the good things about the beni.
But I already said my PEACE and that I will promise!
We, and I guess I speak for the other critics here in this thread, particularly for the beni, are not the "fighter type" of people but the "legal critics type".
If you feel hurt because of a few legal tsikoteers who have somehow critiqued the beni and in some way provoked you, then we're sorry for you. If you or any of your relatives or friends have purchased a beni so what?People make mistakes.:hysterical: There's still life after the Beni.
Again, we come in PEACE!![]()
to overboost:
FAW - as i understand, dala din to ng focus ventures/dealer ng chana? just saw a "wagon-r" type micro wagon plying edsa (from ortigas before and after the road level area and santolan to kamuning area...sa cubao ko lang di nakita kasi diba underpass na dun..after cubao, nakita ko ulit plying, after that i didnot get a glimpse of the front end..around 4-430pm, yellow color. di ko ma kita ng maigi kasi nasa mrt ako slightly sa gitna, madaming pasahero at .. as i observed, well can do 70-80 as it passed the mrt i was riding which was doing 60-65kph..
i know it say FAW in the rear, i saw that clearly...
Oh... sorry... i just had to say my piece....But if this is what you consider peace:
I guess it's no problem if I vent...
Yeah... I'm just as annoying... let's see... I complained about the Benni's cheap interior... uhh... that's a good thing about the Benni? I suppose you're Solomon now? How do we settle this thread? Let's cut a baby in half?
And promises are made to be broken?
They might be. I've been here for years, and I know several of these guys who love a good debate. You? I don't quite know. You seem to enjoy fighting too much.
Hahahaha... I thought such inane, childish insulting was beneath you. No, wait a minute... was it you I was thinking of? Seriouisly, oldblue was much more fun... at least he stayed in character till the bitter end. The soy sauce must really be getting to your brain... probably spent too much time in a Camry as a baby:
Ref: 2007 Camry AC STINKS!!! Thread
Besides... we have bigger... errh... cheaper fish to fry...
In case you're wondering what the hell that is... it's a Shangdong Jindalu FL250ZK-7. And if you think a Chana or a Chery is cheap, you haven't had time behind the wheel of one of these things. You think I'm a goody-goody "loves all kinds of cars" guy? You seriously need to read beyond the 11 (or 12) pages of this thread.
And you can Rest In... oh... wait... no more flames or off-topic ba?... my bad... You can rest however you want to.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
It was a very hot day kanina dito sa southern part of China. Temperature got hotter towards mid afternoon. I was driving my 2005 Swift which is also made by Changan when I took these pics. The vehicle in front on the third pic is also a Changan product. As I've mentioned in my previous post, the Benni and my Swift shares the same 1.3 engine. Never experienced overheating despite the very hot weather.

Hi Nicky!
I come in PEACE!
I knew you had to show off your CHONGSICHANG XX666444 thing or whatever you call that thingamajig in your backyard that's made in China! But whatever it is, let's keep this thread for the Beni's OK?
And I want to clear with you again, there is life after the Beni, please don't feel hurt or insulted.
As others might now realize in this thread, you truly maybe a guru in new Chinese cars and you might have spent your puberty days in this wonderful forum, but it still doesn't take off the fact that the beni stinks - for us the "legal critics". Vent, rant, pant, holler, shout, hell you can even freak out for all I care, after all, its a free world.
Go ahead punk, fry your fish - in that thingamajig you showed I guess!
Again, I come in PEACE!![]()
parang yan yun kalaban ni mr bean a...yun kotseng lagi nyang pinatataob hehehe
Again... the bitter irony of those words...
Oh, but it's not mine. If it were, I would have to hide myself in shame for the rest of my life.
I'm not really hurt, actually.
Oh... another insult. And more irony. Keep going. This is getting interesting. Oops... banned... sorry... you can't.
---
RE: that weird little car... well... I'll start another thread about it... this ain't the place... it's under the trunk, actually...
---
So... where were we? The test unit from Chana mismo, supposedly has a weird smell... but, overboost, did your sister's test unit smell? That's the one that TGP tested, right? Strange thing is, didn't notice it in the cars on the showroom floor, or does it only come out when the AC's on?
We're still trying to get a test unit from Chana. Too bad we didn't get it when we got the Chery QQ. Been hearing good things about the fuel economy of the Benni, but I'd like to see how it does on our terribly congested test route. That route wasn't too kind to the QQ (got just 10 in rush-hour traffic in the south).
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
well, sure. cars from more reputable and stable brands do breakdown and will also have problems...but the thing is,if i am going to have problems, its nice to know that your brand is reputable,at least. reputable in the sense that they already have a track record in the country. even though some of the better known brands have issues like arrogance and failure to make actions like the case of the lemon city long ago here,at least you know that they will still be around the country long enough for you to follow the case. what if the brand suddenly closed shop here in the country? just like the old proton that we had here.,,their warranties outlived their stay here in the country hehehe but anyways...we all said the same thing about KIA and hyundai then...but look at where they are now...the only korean brand that came here those days that died out not too long was daewoohehehe just being realistic. hard earned money should always be invested wisely

Thank you Mods (GhostHunter, Jedi and Niky) for bringing back order to this thread.
Our Benni has logged more than 5,000 kms since it was acquired last March and had its first PMS two weeks ago. I'll be posting some pictures and a complete report on how the Benni is doing. BTW if you're all curious...its exceeding our expectations.
well...the length of the warranty period doesn't really count if the brand would not stay longer than the warranty period hehehe but i suppose chery will be here longer than the other chinese brand. cherry will be here to stay,i suppose.but i cant say the same about the other brands. i just dont see enough of them on the streets.
my take on something like that is this. its like buying a brand new digital camera with a 2yr warranty from a guy with a sidewalk shack somewhere in avenida. sure it has 1 year more than what the shops at hidalgo has. but how sure are you that the guy will still be there 2 years after anyways
a more down to earth example would be the chinese clone celfones.
well, unlike european cars, chinese cars are based on old japanese models. so even if nawala yung dealer, parts are abundant, lalo na kung alam mo na ang mga counterparts nyan..
the problem lies only on the body and interior triming, yan lang what sets part from the japanese.
parang motorsiklo lang yan.. look at the eurospace em100 at wave 100, badge lang halos pinagkaiba. yung clone ng norkis na sniper...halos same sa orig na sniper. mga legacy models ng norkis-- nga chop-up mira...
