haha!! no, i meant the older models or chevy in general -- parang yung sa toyota before di ba nag recall sila sa US. kaya hindi ko na sinama sa shortlist ang yaris...

just ths week, honda jazz and city for a certain years of production is being recalled - may parts daw na dapat palitan but lucky for us here wala pang reported accident na nangyari... so please check the news and relay it those who owned jazz and city para ma-alert sila....

Someone asked me a question why people don't like Chevrolet in general I gave them the answer... Totoo naman diba? Bakit nga ba a lot of people don't like Chevrolet and the sales prove it. Worse non-luxury brand in terms of sales even worse than Nissan...

And for those asking if I ever owned a Chevrolet. Thank God I haven't cause if I did I would have experienced what my cousin had with their Optra... Malakas sa gas, pretty much sa dealer ka na aasa for those non-replacement parts and ang tagal nila madala dito sa Pilipinas... A best friend was also not satisfied with their Venture van. Overheat dito, overheat dyan. Ang takaw pa sobra sa gas tapos gawa sa ginto ang parts na mabilis masira...

Again, hinay-hinay lang brad sa paninira lalo na kung hindi ka naman pala apektado. We appreciate your concerns pero ang labas kasi ibang-iba eh. Hindi ka ba bothered kung ano ang magiging feelings ng mga nag mamay-ari ng chevy?

Palagay mo kaya kung kami aatake din sa ibang thread tapos sisiraan din namin ang mga kotse nila, kahit hindi naman kami nagmamay-ari kahit isa?

Marami lang naakit sa presyo at features ng Optra at Venture kaya naging mabenta noon yan.

Di hamak na nag-improve ang quality ng newer Chevrolet products like Cruze and Spark.Hoping ilabas na nila yung bagong Captiva at Orlando.

Well you didn't answer the question of the guy who ask us why people don't like Chevy? Sabi mo lang because I like it but you didn't say why a lot of other people don't...

You're just being defensive and understandably so... Pero di itong simpleng paninira especially if its proven and substantiated ang mga negative comments na yun... Don't want to believe me about Chevy's bad past? Then re-read older posts from other formers here...

Yes there is a potential for improvement... But just like others I wanna see it first, I don't like promises... Personally I would skip this generation of Chevy. Pag ok sila this generation baka next generation we can already consider them...

Mas okay ang current generation ng Chevrolet products over dun sa nakaraan na maganda lang sa umpisa pero sablay sa huli.

Hoping Chevrolet Philippines will release a much bare and cheaper variant of the Spark and A/T variant of it soon.

ok ceasefire - since ako yung nag ask ng question, i will just clarify again.

somebody said maganda sana ang spark kaso lang chevy. so i asked whats wrong with it being a chevy - so i really expected negative comments - and welcomed it also para alam nating lahat ano ang rep ng vendor na ito sa philippines. hindi ko kasi talaga alam. pero kaso LIKE ko din talaga ang chevy so weird sakin for someone to say that.

the fact though that its all based on what other people experienced, from models other than the spark, parang hindi lang masyado constructive for this thread...but i appreciate the ''other side of the coin'' feedback. at least we know to check the dealer network, parts and service and gas consumption.

and so far, as i said, no dealbreakers pa naman from all the nega stuff:

dealer - more dealers being appointed. more competition, more choices.
parts and service - ok, mahal siya. hopefully with more local presence it will get better.
gas consumption - compared naman to other chevy models mentioned, the spark is their compact, fuel efficient model di ba, kaya nga you'd buy a small car - for easy parking, and less gas consumption.
safety - the video helped, thanks. and i checked wala naman recalls ang chevy beat or spark, at ang recalls ng chevy in general ay during the 80s..

agree guys? or im still missing something?
