Nakapag-test drive ako kahapon nito sa Alabang, ok naman sya. problema ko lang yung pwesto ng gas pedal, mahirap sa malalaki ang paa! :D pero kung pang araw-araw ay pwede na talaga ito,

I am a proud owner of a white spark which was purchased last two months so far ok naman except sa mga busina. Medyo mahina kasi and I am planning to replace them with Hella. May I know kung meron kayo alam na mapagbibilhan ng fog lamps na mura. Thanks

As for gas consumption 0.22 liters per kilometer siya based on my observation unless meron mas rational na basis

That calculation is waaaay high. That's 22 l/100 km

    Best way:

Fill your tank. First click. Make sure that the pump isn't going too fast, as this can trigger false shut-off.

    Set trip meter.

Drive for at least 100 kms.

Go back to the same pump. Same method. Fill. First click.

Divide kilometers driven on trip meter by liters used for km/l. Or... divide liters used by kilometers driven, then multiply by 100 for l/100 km. These are the two most common measures.

When I had the car (1.2 MT), I measured 15-17 km/l in mixed use. I think 20 km/l (5 l/100 km) might be possible with eco driving in the city. On the highway, I don't know if it can hit the Celerio's 30+ km/l at 80 km/h... but I'd sure like to try that sometime.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Guys need help. We are interested in buying the spark. Test drove the MT 1.2 LT at chevy alabang and its really nice to drive (well the clutch needs to get used to). Ang problem lang mostly wife ko gagamit ng car and we prefer the AT pero at the same price as the 1.2 its transmission vs accessories. Laki difference ng 1.2 inside and out compared sa AT plus my wife is turned off with the steel rims. I have no idea din how the AT drives compared to the manual one.. We are deciding to just get the 1.0 at and change the rims or wait a little while at baka maglabas ng 1.2 na AT.. But if its me who is gonna use the car I'll get the manual hahaha. Any suggestions?

We are contemplating on buying a Chevrolet spark 1.0 since they already introduced the AT variant however going to the dealer. It looks like its transmission vs accessories between the 1.2Lt MT and 1.0 LA AT. The 1.2 LT is simply looks good inside and out and with the same price as the 1.0 AT. However since my wife will most likely drive the car she is opting for an auto but she is turned off with the looks of the base model 1.0 AT with the steel rims and bare interior. Test drove the 1.2 MT since its the only one available to test drive and I must say it drives nicely. No idea on what the 1.0 AT drives.. Been thinking of just getting the AT and getting aftermarket rims for it. Any suggestions? Or I just convince my wife to drive a manual?

I wouldn't mind having steelies. Buy a set of mags, then keep the steelies in storage for when you eventually sell the car.

What else is different? It's not like a small car like the Spark is fully loaded, even in top trim...

Most practical would be to get the 1.0 MT... convince her that fuel economy and resale value will be best with the smaller engine (as it will be) and the manual transmission. Then spend the extra money saved on those rims and some leatherette seatcovers to preserve the interior fabrics from wear.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Sorry for the double post. Problem with logging in as I wasn't able to see my post right away. Mods pls erase my second post.
    * niky - Thanks. If I can't convince her to get the manual then probably just get the AT and aftermarket rims..
