NO SPARE PARTS AVAILABLE(I called Chevrolet Que Ave last Saturday)
    NO UPDATE FROM CASA
    THREE WEEKS DOWNTIME

Anybody planning to get a car from Chevrolet, THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE.
    Just stating facts.
Sir, wrong move. Why didn't you bring it to another Chevy casa which can perform better than Quezon Avenue? Mabagal talaga kumilos ang Quezon Avenue. Sa Trailblazer thread and at the FB page of Chevy Club Philippines Trailblazer group, we highly recommend Chevy Commonwealth. Mabilis sila gumawa and service is top notch.

Can you still pull your car out? Baka you can bring it to another CASA ... malay mo, magulat si Quezon Ave and suddenly kinabukasan ayos na.

I just wish to share my experience with my SPARK.
A few weeks back, the SPARK had a problem. It wont
accelerate. Sent it to casa (Quezon Ave). They told me
that the problem is the caliper of the brake right front wheel.
In layman's term, the way I understood it, is nakakagat yung
brake even kahit di ako nagbe-break. To make long story shorter,
SPARES ARE NOT AVAILABLE. THREE WEEKS OR MORE BEFORE IT COMES.
Situations like this, kind of makes you look at other brands as better options.
I just wish none of you would experience what I am experiencing now with Chevrolet.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will take note of Chevrolet Commonwealth.
I need a seven seater soon and was considering the Trailblazer.
In fact, my wife loved it. And we were looking forward to purchasing one.
But after this experience.... NO SPARE PARTS FOR THREE WEEKS.... NOW GOING INTO ITS FOURTH WEEK....
I am inclined to look elsewhere than Chevrolet.

Don't let 1 bad experience from a Chevy dealer hinder you from buying a Trailblazer. Just to give an example, one Trailblazer owner had a problem with his alternator. Supposed to be, the alternator will be available 1 month and 3 weeks. Pero nagawan ng Chevy Commonwealth ng paraan. His alternator was replaced in 3 weeks.

Kaya ayun, don't let one 1 bad experience from a lousy Chevy dealer hinder you from buying a Trailblazer. If you want, I'll help you get a unit agad. Ilalapit ko sa owner ng Commonwealth. Di ka na pipila pa.

Thank you so much for sharing your insights. I appreciate the inputs you have provided. Regarding changing casa...well...Quezon ave advice that the car should not be moved and used to prevent damage to the unit.

I am very thankful to the help and suggestions of tsikot member numbah5. However, my wife and I have already set our sights on another SUV from a another carmaker.

My Chevrolet Spark is now entering its 4th week in the casa of Quezon Ave.
Still NO SPARES AVAILABLE at the moment.
Can you imagine 4 weeks downtime with your car?
    I've had Hyundai before.
    I bought Toyota also.
I have never experienced this type of downtime with any of the two car makers.
I guess there is always a first time.
I pray that you guys planning to buy a Chevrolet or already owns one does not have to go thru the experience of
    what I am experiencing now.
In all fairness, they have wonderful products.
I just could not say the same for service I am getting now.
    Too sad.

3 weeks is still 3 weeks. Unacceptable downtime if its your primary car.

    1) Mababa talaga ang quoted price for trade-ins. They do this so they can still sell the car for relatively cheaper than market price and not be left with stock of other car brands sitting in their lots.

    2) I think that Spark really isn't a car many people look for on the 2nd hand market as a first choice.

Maybe you can PM me that SUV. I have experienced the 2 closest competitors of the Trailblazer and I still own one of them. I can tell you my experiences with the 2 if you like.

Numbah5, thank you so much for the info.
Tintin informed me about 3 days ago regarding the arrival of the spare.
Today I called Chev Quezon Ave.
They told me the car is repaired and ready.
They also informed during the initial assessment of the damage 27 days ago that I had to pay for
the brake pad that was damaged by the caliper.
In fairness to Chevrolet Quezon Ave, they told me today that I do not have to pay for anything.
The caliper and brake pads are free of charge.

Numbah5, once more, thank you for your concern on my issue.

Buti na lang Tintin assisted you in your concern. If she didn't enter into the picture, hanggang ngayon di pa ayos ang Spark mo at magbabayad ka pa. Lesson learned: avoid casas that can't repair your car agad.

Kaya next time try to bring your Spark to Commonwealth. Iba talaga ang service nila. Top notch. Look for Grethy there, aasikasuhin ka nila. Free juice and coffee, free wifi and free movie pa. You can also watch how your Spark is being serviced tapos makakausap mo pa ang owner/GM nila since very hands on siya sa operations. Paikot-ikot lang siya around the dealership.

Hi Guys, I'm planning to get the spark next month for my daily use, which is better 1.0? or the 1.2? Which is most fuel efficient? My other otions are picanto or the grand i10.

route: purely city driving from mindanao ave to eastwood or commonwealth to east wood.

    TIA :D

Hi. I just want to ask what are the security features of the Spark? Do all variants has ABS, Side impact beam & impact absorbing body? These security specs are not shown in the brochure. Thanks.

Hi. New member and new owner of a 2ndhand Spark 2011 here.

    Thanks

sI would like to share my experience with our newly bought 2014 chev spark. After 3 days of usage, check Engine light went on and the car started to behave badly. We immediately brought it to Chev commonwealth where we bought it. Sabi nila, for service daw pag umilaw un light at iniwan namin dun overnight. Then tumawag sila ang sabi, gumamit daw kami ng premium gasoline (petron xcs) which is nakasira daw sa makina fuel injector to be exact. Unleaded lang daw ang kinakarga sa spark, so it voids the warranty. Fine, tinanggap namin bsta ayusin nila. Dinrain nila lahat ng gas at nilinis un fuel line but after 2 weeks di daw nila makita un problem.

I need your help kung sino ang 2014 chev spark users dito, ano po ang kinakarga ninyo na gasoline?

    Any advise?
