Wala pa naman yung plates ng car ko, pero dad ko concerned with drilling through the middle of the plate dahil sa gitna yung screws sa lalagyan ng plates sa Cruze. Lahat ba nagdrill through their plate or bumili kayo ng casing(sa casing kasi wala akong makita sa stores na sa gitna yung lalagyan)?

sir, ganito.. buy ka deflector na brand na license plate cover, then sa middle part of the black panel of the deflector cover, meron hole, you must drill a hole on the black back cover of the deflector so it fits the original bracket of the cruze (meron existing holes na ang back cover ng deflector, you just have to create two new holes. get a flat head screw and screw in the black part of the deflector cover. then once installed, place your plates against the black back then the clear plastic cover, then the chrome plastic cover.

by doing that, you will not drill any holes on the plates. HTH

it depends on a lot of factors.
    1. dealer schedule in going to LTO for registration
    2. ending number if its available.
    3. everything paid for, tpl

Mine took about a month. Mas nauna pa nga sa akin compared to other Cruze owners who got their car ahead of me.

May OR/CR na yung plates kasi eh, mukhang problema lang talaga is yung availability nung ending number (3)

The Liaison person of my dealer is somewhat adept to the in and out of LTO's politics. He was able to reserved counts of plates ahead of time. I got my reserved plate just 1 day (well, this is months before the LTO vs Stradcom conflict happened.

Hi Guys.. new here sa tsikot.

I find the topics here very informative the knowledge we get are big money savers since you get input from actual owners who have real life experiences w their cars and give leads and tips on how to solve simple concerns w our autos.. I have a Mazda 3, Honda Civic, City and as of yesterday I took the plunge for the Chevy Cruze LS MT White..typing this in Cafe Lipa Star Toll hehe.. test drive and break in..

Will be going to Chevy Pasig later, hopefully i can find Abner there he seems very helpfull in the 1st part of the forums..

Im experiencing dragging when in traffic sa 1st gear eh.. the Cruze that I have is 3 mos old pa lang but there seems to be a problem with the clutch on 1st gear I hope this is just an Adjustment as the car is only 2000+ km old..

Thanks for an interesting thread guys hopefully i can join you guys in the Cruze Club as the Cruze is becoming my favorite car of the moment..

Baka sa adjustment lang ng positioning ng seat mo yan bro. Try to experiment different positions until you can find the right and comfortable seat adjustment.

Dropped by latter part of the afternoon * Chevrolet Pasig was able to meet Abner hes very nice and accomodating especialy if you are a Tsikoteer..he said you droped by earlier sa casa.. A fellow Tsikoter was also releasing his blue Cruze w magic black tint, if the white Cruze is a looker then the Blue Cruze is a macho machine..

Regarding my dragging was able to drive the Cruze from 430am to around 130am going to different occasions here in Manila and in Batangas.. problematic talaga yung 1st gear especially during stop and go traffic..

Looks like mataas ang clutch kaya nanginig.. cant wait for Monday to have the unit inspected * Chevy Pasig.. Although i bought my unit in Chevy Shaw and the QA branch is nearer to our place I still prefer to go to Shaw because Abner gives more value to the tarnished reputation of Chevrolet..

ill update my experience here for Cruze MT owners on Monday.

Interesting. A Cruze with a 2.0L crdi engine. I wonder what specs it would have.

    MAHAL!!!!

Kaya nga sakin medyo hyped up ang CRDi in passenger cars... Yung Focus nga medyo mura na (kung matatawag mong mura yun) in relation kasi locally made...

    Please see information:

Is the diesel Cruze really hitting showrooms soon? "Not yet," says Chevrolet Philippines marketing director Lyn Buena. Take note of the answer--"not yet"--which means it will definitely arrive, but at a much later time. "We're still on the planning stage," adds Buena. "I guess the sales consultant is misinformed."

Just means Chevy hasn't decided. Doing a wait and see (and maybe a few financial projections) if the Chevy Cruze CRDi would do better sales figures than the Ford Focus TDCi.

i got my plates with stickers exactly 3 weeks from the date i took it out from the dealer. i was surprised nga eh coz other cruzers waited for more than a month others took 3 months and i expected ganun din katagal but fortunately hindi umabot ng 1 month....
