Hi, guys!
I would like to share my opinion about some China car brands that have entered the Philippine automotive market.
Anyway, regarding Chery, I wouldn't count on Chery to stay in the Philippines longer than next year. Their dealers are pulling out. Their vehicles aren't selling. And honestly, it's difficult to be optimistic about Chery's sales figures since the brand doesn't sell commercial vehicles in the country (which IMHO, is a must for any China car brand, looking to be successful in the Philippines).
Great Wall, on the other hand, can do very well in the country if it can bring down the price of its vehicles. To give a clearer picture, the GWPeri--their cheapest car--is pegged at 495,000 php. For the price of this subcompact, I might as well buy myself either a Hyundai i10 or Getz, a Suzuki Celerio or a Toyota Avanza or Vios. On top of that, the GWPeri, and the rest of Great Wall's cars in the local market, should be able to perform at par with their local counterparts, at least (given the cars are priced at par with more popular, and trustworthy car brands).
Chana has the brightest future of the three, especially if the Benni and its line of minivans is able to successfully penetrate the passenger car segment. Sure, the brand has been here for about a year now, but to this day, it hasn't really made much dent in the retail market, much less on the Filipino car buyer's psyche. But at least, Chana has been steadily growing in terms of car sales and its number of dealerships.
'Yun lang po. Bow.
chana has the brightest future? says who? i see some QQ's everyday on the street but has anybody seen any chana cars on the street on a a regular basis? chery suck as much as chana, but people are buying the QQ's more than the soy sauce-smelling cars of chana. just look at the feedbacks here about how chana's vans deteriorate. are you dumb, blind or just promoting a brand?
Yes, Chery QQ's sold like hotcakes when it first came out, but are they still selling now? Why do you think so many Chery dealerships nationwide closed this year?
And if you understood my post, which, obviously, you failed to do, you'd know that I didn't even say that the Chana Benni sells more than the QQ. That's exactly why Chana needs to boost its marketing strategies to help passenger cars, like the Benni, successfully penetrate the retail market. I think Chana has the brightest future among the 3 car brands because its doing very well, selling commercial vehicles (i.e. trucks--in case you're again short on understanding).
A little comprehension goes a long way, bro. Your logic reeks of soy sauce.
Please stop trolling, and post some valid points in this thread.
youre not only a troll who's opinions hold no weight but you cant even think for your own good...
sales equates to success...malabo ba? mahirap ba intindihin? nakaka benta ang chana? eh may madami pa nga ako nakikitang JAC trucks sa kalsada kaysa sa mga amoy pamatay - pesteng kotse ng chana eh. the only instance that i can think of where volume sales doesnt necessarily equate to a good standing of a company is when a company manufactures great products with exeptoinal quality over a very limited prodution run, which any of your chana cars arent...
sinong niloloko mo? kung magbenta na lang kayo ng maayos at professional baka galangin pa namin yan
sige, gawa ka pa ng bagong user account! hindi naman mahirap di ba,troll?
Dude, we are both consumers here.
And again, you manage to sink yourself lower, making yourself look at lot more stupid than you already are.
Yes, Chery made a killing, selling affordable cars years ago, but where's the brand now? How is it doing? Go ahead. Ask the service crew and sales men who were dropped by Chery's dealerships.
All products, whether they sell or not--whether they're good or otherwise--need marketing and advertising to survive. Why do you think Coke--already a household name here in the Philippines--continues to put millions into advertisements?
Like I said, a little logic goes a long way.
Find another constructive thing to do in your leisure. Solve the Rubik's cube. Who knows? Maybe it will improve your logic.
There I've said my piece.
kinda dull for a classic troll, huh?
who cares about chery or chana? both suck and both are priced grossly out of sense!
ill make it a little bit easier for your mind to absorb. if something is as good as what you are trying to say. does it need "special" marketing efforts to become successful? ang simple lang eh. ang sagot oo o hindi lang. wala nang excuses, wala nang dahilan, wala nang kesyo nabaha o kung ano ano pa.may tubig, amoy toyo, pangit - AYUN!
ok,ill treat you as one of my pupils at college...kunwari youre one of those type na medyo "dull"...not all products need advertising to survive...gusto mo ng example? chocknut <- tingin mo ba gumastos ng milyon milyon yan para abutin kung nasaan sila ngayon? they have great products that people love and enjoy. end of story. now,if your chana cars are as good as you want people to believe, dadagsain yan at madami na akong nakikitang taxi o provate na chana cars...eh wala eh. madami pa nga yun JAC na hindi nag aadvertise at walang troll na nagaadvertise...
bring it on...masaya at nakakalibang ang ipamukha sa iyo ang pagkatalino mo![]()
for the info gentlemen, JAC has been hear for 2002 so if you seen a lot more JAC trucks that chery and chana cars we dont need a lot more explanation. chery has been here for 2007 and chana 2008, its natural to seen more chery cars than soy sauce smelling chana. 2 thing is your comparing, although same made in china vehicle but different categories so it doesnt make any sense at all. i know both of you guys reach your profession today because you are well respected people. but acting like this means not proving it. dont be bias be fair, give info like teaching not throwing non-sentences!!! who knows tsikoteers reading this is laughing at the two of you fighting exchaging words of wisdom. and for the china car players here in the phil. may the strongest and has more money wins. weather its JAC, chery, chana, FAW, foton, jinbei lifan, GW the last lough is to them who wins and us to witness.![]()
sana nga kung may last laugh kahit isa sa kanila, or lahat sila luhaan sa huli hehe.
Chery na talaga ang may pinakamagandang sales dito, but because of the feedback sa mga nakabili, kitang-kita naman natin na hindi na nagtuloy-tuloy ang sales nila. After sales service is poor din daw, paano na yan? Paano na yung mga Chery owners, Filipinos won't be risking their money for these China brands.
Chana??Meh palpak nga ang products nila lalo na yung Benni(may ganyan kami sa office na binenta na namin) at saka small time and di masyadong seryoso ang Focus Ventures rito, kaya malamang BITAWAN nila to in two or three years time..
Chery eh magtatagal pa yan lalo na malakas ang backer nyan rito..Pero nagkaroon lang ng slowdown sa sales this year at nabawasan ang dealers, but still Chery-Iseway is still here and will launch more new products starting with these:
CHERY X1:
CHERY QQ2:

Maganda ang porma nun Cherry X1.Yun Cherry QQ2 parang ginaya nila yun Suzuki Celerio.
