Hands off, magada pagka finish, galing mag kopya which is alone is hard for us to do here.
Malakas ang China mag import ng scrap metals. Hindi ko alam yung mga auto industry nila pero exposed ako sa mga barkong gawa nila. Some shipping companies opted for china made ships kasi grabeng mura and in comparison with korea/japan. Brand new nga pero talaga namang mayat maya may kung anung problems out of the blue ang lumalabas be it mechanical or electrical.
Nagka GF na kong Chinese eh, tweetums but deceivingly deadly....thats another story.

BTW: i've worked into a chinese firm before, RND/Quality Control, nag resign na lang ako kasi bale wala din yung efforts ko, my position was just for show sa clients & ISO kuno. There were after quantity & care less about quality...we'll kung anong itanim yun ang aanihin kaya ayun, nabuking din sila, in the end lahat ng na produce nila ibinalik sa kanila. Eto nanaman ako, intervention...sagipin ang bundok nilang basura, nasagip naman, bumangon ang kumpanya sa reputasyon. Nung gumanda na ayun back to old habits. Awa ng Dyos? balita ko nag sara na sila, may mga kaso pa.

Give the Chinese a few more years, mas hihigit pa sa mga Japanese at Korean cars ang mga Chinese made. With a humongous market-they can easily earn profits to improve their autos.Bago pa lang naman ang Chinese sa auto industry. Eventually, whether we like it or not they will dominate the Asia economy.

Kaya, sana makipag-deal na ang mga true Pinoy manufacturers sa mga auto companies sa China for a joint venture to service our growing population. We have a future if we work with the Chinese instead of the Japanese or Korean. Tagal na kasi ng mga Hapon at Koreano na yan dito sa atin and the only thing that they can offer to us is a distribution or marketing contract. No technology transfer. No local procurement. At least Ford-Mazda, Toyota at Isuzu ata nag-a-assemble dito.Kaya lang sobrang mahal.Korean cars, ala.puro imported ang, local lang LTO sticker. Alang pakinabang Pinoy.Pag nasira import ka pa ng parts.Sana Chery rin. Pero kung all-imported din Chery wag na lang. Ford-Mazda o Toyota na ako.

Kaya, sa sobrang mahal ng mga Japanese at Korean vehicles bilang na lang nakakabili sa Pinas.

In my opinion, ang trend ay katulad ng motorcycle market sa atin. Sa sobrang mahal ng Japanese brand, pumasok ang Chinese. Na-challenge ang dominance ng Japanese brands kaya bumagsak presyo ng motorsiklo.

Ang balita, Dongfeng will put up a manufacturing base here. Hala lagot lalo ang mga japanese companies.

Labo-labo na ang mga magkakaaway...their antagonism dates back to the ancient past lalo na nung World War Two. Ang Pinas ay battleground na. Dapat alam natin Pinoy kung saan tayo kakampi.Kasi lagot tayo in the future pag mali tinayaan natin..Korean, Japanese or Chinese ba?May Indian na pala....(suzuki alto-maruti-udyog)

Ang Chery at AnFra at Tsikot PHUV might do the same sa commercial at car market. Yang mga crash test etc na yan will not stop Pinoys from looking for alternatives. Pagbibili ang PInoy ng sasakyan hindi unang tatanungin kung ano rating ng sasakyan sa mga crash test. Una presyo at utility nito.

I hope local auto enthusiasts will follow the footsteps of Chery and other Pinoy entrepreneurs tulad ng AMC.To give alternatives to Pinoys.
