now ....there is a white QQ3 in baguio .800cc AMT .i saw yestrday near cityhall.MALAKAS pla 800cc on baguio roads.mtipid pa .anyway meron din naman suzuki alto 800cc in baguio .:exclaim::car:but suzuki alto 800cc is only 48 hp engine but qq3 800cc DOHC is 52 hp and qq3 1100cc DOHC is 72.
suzuki alto is not made in japan .its made by india maruti ltd. so they just use the name of suzuki japan because of a collaboration between suzuki and maruti .no part of alto is made by japan. and price of standard alto in india is Rs230,000 (P 245,000) AND DELUX Rs260,000 (P 280,000) and suzuki swift Rs 450,000 (P480,000). but here in Philippines std is P 359,000 AND DLX is P 395,000 AND SWIFT IS P 750,000 .INDIA HAS OVER PRODUCTION OF ALTO AND THEY WANT TO DISPOSE because they will launch a new model of alto maybe this year.and in India TATA motors they have launch already a car name NANO (700cc and it can run 26 kilometer per liter gasoline) worth of $2700 ONLY.almost P120,000 and this is also a big reason of maruti to dispose their alto in other countries .anyway its up to you
this is the picture of TATA NANO
Any actual review from a QQ user? Saw the QQ at their showroom and I saw that the fender light already had a crack also the fit and finish of the plastics aren't that great.
Has anyone bought the Chery V5? It really looks good as a family car. I testdrove one about two months ago when I saw it in Subic. The ride was really good but I found the plastics inside very cheap and flimsy. Also, the chrome side mouldings on the car's exterior were peeling off... When I pointed these out, the SA simply said that that particular unit, being a testdrive unit, was not able to go through the usual quality control before being shown to customers... Personally, I found that to be a TERRIBLE excuse.
Anyhow, I'm just curious if anyone has a V5 and what the reactions to it are?![]()
Btw, I saw the demo unit of the Cowin once again at Blue Wave... Quality is bad. :sad: I instantly saw trims that are now loose.

I tested the QQ in Makati through Cherry sales rep. The reps do not have confidence in the product they are selling. Kaya konting lait ay bumibigay sila. Wala ring killer instinct sa pag close ng sale. After test driving, they just left me without the next action
For the car, i think it would be a good city driving car. It should serve the purpose. The a/c is not that good though considering we drove a brand new car, the a/c should have been very cold. But it was not.
Just like any compact cars, the ride is not good. Much like Kia Pride CD5 years ago. My take is that at 350k, the price is still quite high considering the brand equity and the service support (Finlandia?). They have to do something more to capture market share
With the very bad quality and crash tests, unless they sell it at 50k, KIA and Hyundai will eat them alive then they'll go the way of Proton.
Heck, even an owner type jeep is more practical and generally safer.

Have seen it somewhere.
Chery QQ crash test

crash test at what 15kmh??? That's obviously a ripoff and is not up to world standard.
I think it's grossly irresponsible to post something like that. Baka may maniwala, kawawa naman in the event of a crash.
Yeah just imagine the thoughts of the passengers in the face of unavoidable crash...
Passenger 1; Oh holy molly... we're gonna crash!!!!
Driver: Don't worry, the crash test video I saw at tsikot showed that we're gonna be safe...
Passenger 2: brace yourselves, here it comes!!!
Driver: What the!!! the steering wheel just removed my head... goodbye world...Who the hell posted that fake crash test...
Then they all died because they were mutilated to bits...
==================
Then on their way to heaven (or hell):
Passenger 2: Hey you! you said we're gonna be safe!!!
Driver: I thought so too! I saw the crash test video. It showed the car allegedly crashing and the passenger cabin stayed intact.
Passenger 1; Did you check if it's by EuroNCAP or IIHS??? My bereaved family is gonna sue their asses!
Driver: no, there were no marks. It didn't say IIHS or NCAP...
Passenger 2; You idiot!! That must be a fake crash test by some fly by night guy with a camera! Now we're all dead because you didn't do your homework properly before you bought that piece of crap!
Driver: It was a car enthusiast forum..i thought...i thought...
=========
Hey just kidding
Seriously guys, let's be careful when posting sensitive info on Tsikot.
Thanks :-)

Pre! Malayo standard ng bansa natin para i aaply mo ang EURONCAP test. First you must understand yung road condition natin compare to Europe, US, etc..... their road are more on highways.... Pinas Ano?? puro traffic, konti ang kalsada, maraming lubak etc. Aksidente sa bansa natin ay nasa drivers yan.... inaantok sa daan(nakatulog), lasing, reckless driving.
So you mean to say Filipinos only deserve mediocre products because we don't live in a developed country?
