Compare the FOREX first bago mo ipalit. Kung saan di ka talo iyon iyong ipalit mo. Last time I know you can exchange your peso sa Departure area. Either USD or SGD - di ko nga lang alam iyong max. amount limit that you can exchange.

February 10th, 2016 12:03 AM #25perhaps if you check the different exchange rates via google. but they do vary daily..
but you do not have to source USD or SGD here in the phils.
PhP can be exchanged for SGD there.. in the airport or in the malls.
also, some local ATM cards here might be used to withdraw local currency there. check with your bank, po.
the differences might not be big enough to justify the trouble of going out of your way to exchange currencies...
but be sure you have some SGD in your pocket when you leave the airport. you may need them for the bus, taxi or train... or even the quick meal to assuage your hunger before you turn in.
and have some USD in your pocket.. mebbe 100 dollahs.. just in case you fancy a chocolate bag in the duty free...
btw... if you need your cellphone there, best you talk to your telco here soonest. i am told that some of the telcos here may not move fast enough for our needs. (e.g., hindi pa activated at nandun ka na sa abroad). but if you are comfortable communicating via computer... it's free, po.
have fun. remember... laksa only one star spicy! nakaka-butas ng gilagid kung 5 star..
heh heh.

mas maganda palit sa singapore P>S$.
kung atm may international charges yan, from your bank and from the dispensing atm bank. hsbc lang yata meron local branch sa pinas na walang charges. so even though mas maganda palitan nila after the charges talo ka pa din. it does saves you from bringing too much cash. remember sa airport anything above US$10k or its equivalent in any currency need to have clearance from the AMLC.
