Ive been a metrobank classic visa card holder since 2002, they recently upgraded mine to platinum, plus they also gave me a mastercard platinum, the thing is..i havent used their CC since 2014..they're really trying to make you spend..ill just keep it for the heck of it...

So far ang nakita ko max sa gold card is 1M, one of our clients nuon.

Personally, mine is only 100k initially given just few months ago, the BPI manager told me I'll just call them if I wanted to upgrade.

On the other hand, my basic citi card has 400k credit limit. Depende daw sa pattern ng purchase mo automatically nag increment, or Yun nga pwede mo deliberately pa upgrade.

Ah ganun, akala ko kasi if it's a gold card maybe minimum is 500k and as high as 1M above, so ano yung advantages if gold card??? I was planning to apply pa sana.

I got pre-approved sa BPI Gold Mastercard nila. They didn't even require me to submit any documents, kahit ID wala. The branch where my accounts were just called me if interested ba daw ako, sabi ko yes. Then after a few weeks tinawagan ako ng head office sa Makati, that phone call was sort of an interview, then ayun, I just received a text stating na I got approved. haha nakakagulat lang considering na I didn't apply for one, pero I won't be using it as much, just for very very important purchases lang :D

Not sure now.
But years ago, may promo sila na waive ang annual fee for life. Baka pwede mo ihaggle sa kanila yan.

Parang pwde yata, just call their customer service, and if your a good paying client, parang they will waive it.

I said yes to the gold card offer nuon thinking mas mababa finance charge nya, hindi rin pala. I didn't bother to ask for the advantages and perks probably, nahihiya ako humindi.

Pero ang nakikita ko lang main advantage, mas malaki pwede max credit limit ng gold vs other regular cards, for example my basic citi card won't reach 1M siguro. Then again, I have yet to confirm this.

kasi when i was using MB gold, sobra na daw yung 400k limit sa gold limit; and platinum level na dapat nung naging 250k from 150k. kaya nun nag request ako ng additional 50k (from 400k limit), wala na choice kungdi gawin platinum travel (walang kwenta *di ako ma travel* aside from higher limit)

yung platinum daw hanggang 7M limit
sakin di ko na pinataas, magtigil na sya sa 500k pero ginawa automatic 585k just a couple of months ago.

btw share ko lang, i know malakas spending powers ng tsikot members.
pero sa katulad kong matipid, sinimulan ko few years ago na iiwan yung CC na mataas ang limit sa bahay lang.
naisip ko kasi, if need pa umuwi bago makabili ng bagong electronic stuff etc, minsan tatamarin pa bumalik or pagdating sa bahay nakapag isip nako if gusto ko ba talaga.
so far yun tv ko 4 year old na dati annually or few months palang palit agad bago, mobile phones din ganun lumalampas na ng 1 year unless sira and ayoko mag intay ng repair or replacement.
malaking tulong din pala na cash lang madalas kalakaran sa banawe and other car parts store hehehe

I know someone with gold accounts hovering 600k. Mas mababa kasi annual fees ng Gold than Platinum kaya hindi nya pinapalitan
