I have a petron-bpi card, used exclusively for paying for fuel, never been delinquent and what not, pero nirerequest ko pa iwave ang annual fee tapos half lang winewaive nila, dahil kaya i rarely use it? I've been considering cancelling it na nga and stick with my citibank cards nalang.

I have citi shell and rewards. Ayaw nila waive annual fee na 2.5k and 2k respectively. Ni ayaw nila ko bigyan ng waive option. Ayun, pinapa close ko na. Sa hsbc na cc ko for almost 10 yrs na, never ako nagbayad ng annual fee.

Citibank automatically waives annual fee if you meet the minimum spend criteria ... it's 180T annually for the Cashback Card ...
BDO ang pinakamadali mag-approve followed by BPI in my experience. Yung Citibank, yung unang apply ko declined din. Pero nung nakuha ko na yung BDO at BPI, sinubukan ko ulit, approved na. So I guess you only need to get 1 CC and the rest will follow.
If you make a large enough investment in a bank, sila pa mismo ang mag aalok sayo ng card. Of course a certain amount may be large for a smaller bank than it is to a bigger bank.
^ meant to say, an amount may be large for a small bank, small for a big bank.
How easy is it to waive annual fees sa BPI? Just call and straight up ask for them to waive it or do you need to come up with an excuse?

Kanina may nag offer sa akin ng CC ang isang agent ng Citibank while looking for phones sa Samsung Store. Asked me if may current CC ako... sabi ko oo, then sabi pa ng agent na they're offering balance transfer from my current CC to Citibank.
Tanong: ano ang balance Transfer at ano ang benefits, pros and cons nito?
