    TIL.

Ngayon ko lang din nalaman may other uses pa pala yung mga binebentang film for side mirrors.
I have ignored them na kasi since may nabasa ako na scam daw.
    Now I know!

I don't know kung nakakasira nga but baby oil us the best for me to wipe excess adhesive, tapos alcohol para mawala ang oil.

we use baby oil to clean our scissors' blades, once in a while.
the scissors get heave usage, cutting into various adhesive tapes. i suspect, masking tape is the worst.
the adhesive sticks and accumulates onto the scissors' blades.

alcohol does not react to plastic, tint, rubber, in the same way. usually, the effect is minimal. but i wouldn't be surprised if the color or tint shifts.

Brings back memories when Spigen was still SGP Steinheil and those Capdase film protectors. They're both good.

Magfe-fade ba ang tint pag sobrang alcohol or lolobo yung spot na inalcoholan?

Can anyone point me to a shop in the Mandaluyong area who can hide the wires of a dashcam? Used to be that I'd do those myself but I'm just not in a tinkering mode as of late plus I also have a rear cam to wire so when I saw where it'll pass through, I'd rather just pay someone who knows his stuff and do it quicker. (My basement parking isn't exactly conducive for that) If not in the Mandaluyong area, I remember there's an auto accessories shop in the Pioneer Center compound. Anyone knows if they're still open? Thanks

I've been using my dashcams (DDPai Mini 1 and Viofo A119 V3) as 24x7 parking slot security cameras for some months already. I'm using a single 30,000mAh powerbank to keep these two dashcams running. The powerbank usually lasts for 20 hours but I routinely replace the powerbank every 12 hours to ensure the dashcams will not run out of power.

Lately I'm beginning to think about the safety with keeping these dashcams running. I'm worried that the dashcams might overheat and cause a fire inside the car. Although the car is parked at a covered area where there's no direct sunlight, the cabin can get a bit warm during daytime.

Am I just being paranoid about the possibility of a fire due to the dashcams overheating? I'm aware that the DDPai and Viofo dashcams are using a super capacitor instead of a lithium ion battery which is prone to overheating. What do you guys think?

Using DDPai dashcam also. The manual states the operating temperature range as -20°C to 70°C. I think kahit gaano kabilad it will never reach that temperature.

I'd be more worried about the powerbank.
