Note lang na 70mai uses a battery, not a capacitor. Medyo notorious ang battery na madaling masira. Natuto na ako sa last dashcam ko kaya ngayon ina-unmount ko yung dashcam pag naka-park sa bahay at exposed sa araw.

Maganda ang mounting ng 70mai. It uses mounting tape on an electrostatic film that you "stick" to your windshield. Madali rin syang i-slide out from the mounting clip.

Thanks for this info! Yung GPS at speed collision hindi ko naman kailangan so ok lang ako sa cheaper variant.

Pa-phase out na siguro yung nabili mo kaya mura na ang benta. Yung mini ko rin mabilis naubos after kong makabili.

May A800 na kaya malamang nag-uubos na lang ng stocks ng A500 ang sellers.

As I already have a front facing cam

Do I:

1. install a new system na connected yung front and rear facing camera?
or
2. just buy another standalone camera tapos install ko to face the rear?

Need palitan yung Yi dashcam na nasira na sa extra car at nakabilad sa araw. Pero nakatakip naman ng windshield sunshade when parked.
Ayaw na mag-on ni Yi dashcam, cheap lang kasi

Viofo parking mode.... sino naka pag set up dito?

Sa akin pag enable ko ang parking mode and set to only event occurs, nag rerecord siya continously kahit naka park lang...

kaya ni turn off ko muna ang parking mode baka ma ubosan batt ko...

may naka pry open na ng Transcend DP200 dito? after 4 years sakin sira na battery gusto ko sana e check and if possible palitan if may battery avail sa shopee.. wala ko makita sa youtube for tut pag tanggal.. wala din screws yung unit..

Just need to find one that's auto-on when the charger circuit is connected.

12V switched -> 5V stepdown -> USB powerbank -> dashcams 1&2

Powerbank should charge when the vehicle is turned on, then provide power to dashcams even during extended park time (like now with lockdown).

Nice idea.
But Im not sure if the electric power from car is enough to full charge the powerbank.
Yung powerbank ko dito, need to stay overnight para mag fullcharge.
Sa auto kasi if to/from office lang, ave 30 mins lang siya sa daan unless if traffic talaga.
It might not be enough to power dashcam if lowbat powerbank.

If hindi lowbat powerbank, OK yung idea.
If lowbat, need mo tanggalin from car to charge overnight sa bahay

You need a battery combiner.

This will allow you to have the batteries work independently when not charging. When the car is running, both batteries are being charged. When stopped, both batteries will work independently and won't drain each other.

I suggest using an SLA battery (sealed lead acid) for your dashcam, unless you can find a space in the engine for it.
