sa mga may dashcam na full tint ang front window nyo kumusta naman ang quality ng videos?

I was halted by a lone "cop" 2 weeks ago along Quirino Highway and asked to show my OR/CR (I still do not have plates as the car is only 3 months from new). After perusing the papers he gave it back and muttered "chinecheck lang po sir", although according to my wife, he saw him glance at the running dashcam before giving back our OR/CR.

hello po, just joined this forum as i need feedback on dashcam apps and standalone units.

was, at first, planning to buy a standalone dashcam, pero (mostly because of yung comaparative investment mo for this) i am reconsidering kasi may extra android smartphone naman ako na matino ang camera and i have these past weeks been experimenting on AutoGuard, DailyRoads and CaroO dashcam apps.

so far, parang pinaka walang issue gamitin ang dailyroads pero if you can recommend kung ano talaga ang best app for this. maybe ang issue ko, lahat (and ang limitation of using your celphone as a dashcam) ay walang way na automatically magrecord na may timestamp sa video playback (with dailyroads, upload mo pa sa site nila and kung ubos na credits mo ay babayaran mo ang pag process ng vid mo with timestamp). also, is siguro yung limitation na narrow ang capture ng celphone dashcam mo compared with dedicated dashcams.

anyways, any suggestion or recommendation sa dashcam setup would be very helpful, at iwas na din ako dahil had a number of "close calls" na pakiramdam ko kung natuluyan eh wala akong ebidensya.

trying to see din if using dashcam apps would be sufficient but does this lens impede in having your camera adjust sa gabi. hehe, kasi isa pa yung limitation ng app ay hindi masyadong optimal ang recording sa gabi, pero i think depende sa camera ng phone. =)

Fish eye lens. Yung nabili ko 3 lens for 150 e. Fish eye, macro at nakalimutan ko na ang isa

Im not familiar with lazada. Honestly, i prefer those brick and mortar stores. Maski malayo, pinupuntahan ko kasi kung magka problema, pwede mong balikan. Isa lang naman ang packaging ng sjcam eh. You just have to make sure na ok lahat nang buttons and walang scratch ang lens.

as much as possible buy from a physical store. the sj4000 for around 3k is a good investment kahit anong mall or gadget shop meron kang makikita. also kimstore has a budget dashcam primeguard g1w for around the same price.

however, if you want better video quality i suggest you head over to the nearest Qube branch and check out their xcam dashcam for around 4k that comes with 1yr warranty. best affordable 2k resolution dashcam currently available.

these are the affordable dashcams available locally that I know of which have the same video quality as those sold for 7-8k, qube's xcam has the best video quality i have seen for php 4k.

Medium tint ang akin.
Good ng kuha during daylight.
Bad during nightime.

Kung illuminated yung daanan, pwede na. Otherwise, walang makikita.

Previously, may nagsabi na dito na iadjust lang ang exposure kapag gabi to compensate.
