good morning mga sir, new member here, nakapagbackread na po ako but quick question lang mga sir, if P2,000~3000 ang budget ko for dashcam purposes only, siguro max na po P3,500, anong model at brand po ba ang the best pilliin sa pricepoint nayan? yung sulit po talaga, malinaw kahit gabi, not too bulky,.. para hindi po ako magkamali kaya ask ko muna sainyo. as of now option ko is sjcam4000 pero kaya ko pa naman stretch up to 3,000~3,500 max kung meron ba na mas maganda talaga e why not. nalaman ko din po dito meron din pala xiaoyi dashcam, akala ko yung action camera lang meron sila.. so far yang dalawa lang nayan ang mga options ko po.

i've had both. better image quality (lalo na sa gabi) yung xiaomi.

Sa pyrs online shop ako nakabili ng xiaomi yi dashcam. 3months na din ata dashcam ko hangang ngayon parang unang bili ko pa din. Hehe
Magadan bumili dyan trusted, naka sealed pa ang box pagdating sa akin. Ang price nya hindi nalalayo sa iba.

Got a xiaomi yi from an olx seller in banawe awhile ago. Had it installed together when I got a pioneer head unit for my wife's innova. The installer hid the wires by getting a cigarette lighter (which we bought for P300) so the dashcam could be plugged there & hidden at the back of the dashboard (he tapped power from somewhere) so no wires would be showing, & I could still use the existing cigarette lighter.

mga sir need suggestion because i am planning to buy a dash cam purpose is safety, security on the road and will be used at night mostly.. I am looking for cheap yet quality dash cam.. and hopeful sana dual cam possible front and inside the cabin or sa labas din.

Depends on your needs and budget. The 520 is a very tempting option since meron syang interior camera. But the price is 9k, so medyo mataas. Otherwise it is a quality choice. If money's no object, then get this.

Some people swear by the SJCAMs, but it's more of an action camera than a dedicated dash cam. It will not work as well. Just get a true dashcam.

The X-Cam is also good but you have to ask yourself, is it worth the 1,800 premium over the XiaoYi?

I believe the XiaoYi is the baseline on which other cams must be judged. It is a well reviewed and trusted product. It has very good video quality including at night. It has all of the desired features of a typical dashcam. And it is available for 3.2k. Any other dashcam you consider must be judged on what features it has that justifies paying more than the Yi. Heck, the Yi pretty much destroyed the market for Transcend's DP 50, 200, and 220 in my opinion. It is that disruptive.

do you keep the lcd of your dashcam turned on all the time? i set mine to turn off after 1 minute. just enough time for me to see that it turned on automatically with the ignition and tama ang pagkakatutok ng lens. after it turns off, i just have the led status tell me if it is recording or if something is wrong.

dami ko kasi nakakasabay sa kalye na parang naka-permanently on na ata yung lcd screen ng dashcam nila.

mayron sa lazada kaso wala syang circuit splitter sa fuse box. bili ka ng hiwalay na circuit splitter sa blade or concorde.

i would still prefer a soldered / spliced connection kesa yung mga insulation displacing connectors.

bought this Viofo A119 online for 3,995 + 170 shipping + 1k for Sandisk 64gb Class 10 memory card (specified sa manual, no mmc included in the package).. installed it sa windshield behind the rear view mirror so walang obstruction sa view ng driver..
so far so good, very easy naman ang installation at set-up. test ko later sa actual road use pati night recording..

naka full tint na windshield ko ng 3M (color stable 30).. double adhesive yung pandikit nya, hindi suction cup.

un nga po sir medyo expensive ang 520 for a 9k dashcam parang bumili na ko ng dalawa or tatlong YI nun.. Un car kasi gagamitin for grab/uber so i want somehow may pang cabin do you think ayos ang dalawang YI na bilhin? un YI ba malinaw kahit madilim?
