Sir, I have a 2006 Civic. Ano kelangan ko to upgrade to HID ng hndi makakabulabog sa mga makakasalubong? hehe kasi may binebenta sakin na Bosch HID lamps eh. kukunin ko na sana, buti na lang nabasa ko tong thread na toh. I ust wanna double check muna para sure na walang magagalit sakin sa daan. hehe Thanks.

This is a good set. Seems the lens is thicker than the ones normally seen on Delicas.

This is good for fogs if the intention is to reduce glare. There are plenty of vehicles today (incuding the new Mitsu Lancer) that are using orbital reflector fog lights to eliminate the glare, but it's never enough once you mount HID's on them. I've seen a lot of M3's, Focus, and Civics that instead of buying OEM fog light assemblies, they just buy a set of these projectors, fabricate a mount (which is simply just like replicating the bumper cover mounted on where your fog lights should be, and you may even use the cover included and mold it instead), bore a hole in the middle just to fit the projector. The fabricated assembly can then be held in its place by boring a small hole to where the provisions of the screw for the original fog lamps should be, and it should keep your fog lamps there.

Requires a lot of hard work, and I actually was aiming to do it for my Nissan, but work ate up all my free time for the last nth months. Dang... But... this CAN be done by a shop fabricating car chins and bodykits if you want it the easy way. May cost you though, but it's aesthetically nice and functionally superb compared to a plug and play HID installation on your fogs.

ung foglight lng i retain ku when i encounter bad weather..

bulb lng sana..ung safe po..na hnd makakasira sa wirings..

pag install ku ng projector, nilagyan na mn nila ng relay..

Please rephrase your question and do not post in text-speak.

My assumption though is that you're asking if you want to have the same clarity as the reference image without buying an HID kit, my possible answers are:

A. If you already have an existing HID kit, you don't have to. Difference in light output between China HID and the astronomical kits offered in some other shops are too minimal to notice. Quality-wise of course, some China kits are Class B, but it goes on bulb-build and longevity, but light output wise, not so much.

B. The clarity of the light really doesn't revolve much on what your HID kit is, but on what your PROJECTORS are. Normally those used from the Acura TSX and Ultimate types of projectors produce superb cut-offs and width (the bluish color you see in some HID shots you search on the net or if you backread here), but of course costs more than the ones used for the BMW X5.


So, if your bulbs still light up and you want the same clarity that you get in your reference image, then best suggestion would be to go to Xenon Bulbs and buy a new pair of projector type headlight assemblies for your car (which I know they have) OR create your own custom-fitted assembly or even better yet, just buy a stock headlight assembly for your car somewhere and retrofit it with projectors. Whether clear-type or non-clear type lenses, plenty of projectors are pretty much available at your arsenal to retrofit. You have to note though that if you won't go the easy way out (buying a projector type headlight assembly), lots of rewiring works will really have to be done, not to mention the time and effort to align those projectors. HTH

btw ito ung ilaw ng headlight ku.. notice mu rin ung parang may blue sa edge..ewan bakit may ganun.. tska 100watts na po yan.. nung una 55watts..pero ganun pa din kalabasan ng ilaw eh.. tried splitfire headlight ung magnun arc (white) 4200k, hnd puti ung lumabas..stil the same pa rin....ganun pa din ang kalabasan eh.. hirap sa daan..

anu ma suggest mu bro?

btw ito ung ilaw ng headlight ku.. notice mu rin ung parang may blue sa edge..ewan bakit may ganun.. tska 100watts na po yan.. nung una 55watts..pero ganun pa din kalabasan ng ilaw eh.. tried splitfire headlight ung magnun arc (white) 4200k, hnd puti ung lumabas..stil the same pa rin....ganun pa din ang kalabasan eh.. hirap sa daan..

based on those pics, in my opinion, puwedeng pwede HID yan. but I believe, you will still have to check if a minor aiming adjustment will be needed. sa HID kasi, lumalaki ang area. I see 2007 CRV's with HID on it's projectors that still glared bad when it's farther...

about the bluish edge, I am surpirsed to see a projector with that style.

HID bulb lang ka mo? hindi po puwede yan. HID bulbs doesn't have terminals like normal halogens have. at may ballast pa needed to convert it to thousand volts and a igniter.

about the aiming, wait nalang tayo sa tsikoteer experts.

may nakita na ako na projector na may blue sa tip. ang ganda, binebenta pa siya sa groupo toyota. gustong-gusto ko bumili, peru wala ako budget.

hmmm. kung magpa HID aku, lalabas na lalo yung blue edge yata..hehehe.. any suggestion kung magkano na ung HID kit. tsaka what brand ang ma suggest nyu? pra may idea na ako at makapag ipon na. hehehe

Was able to get my HID from Noel of KOGSUNDIAM. Installed it on my MS.

The fogs aren't projector type yet, as I have to scour and find one that fits the montero. I just adjusted it to hit the road more.

Now napansin ko na mayroon ng binebentang mga HID kit for H4, HB3, HB4, H11, etc. Kamusta kaya ang mga ito kung walang projector?

Kaya ko natanong kasi let us say na halogen H4 ang HL tapos papalitan ng H4 din kaso HID. Kamusta kaya ang glare?
