Mga sir, I want to know if it is possible that the low beam HID will be turned off once I use the high beam halogen? Sa Montero Sport kasi sabay nakabukas yung low beam and high beam, once binuksan mo high beam. Balak ko na talaga magpalagay this summer. Nabasa ko kasi sa MSCP forums na iikli buhay ng HID kapag ganun nangyayari. I'll quote it.

Standard sa monty yung kapag naka low beam ka and then mag high beam, both low and high beam will light up. Not good if naka HID yung low mo / Halogen high at mahilig ka flash ng headlight kasi bumubukas kasabay ng HIbeam yung LOWbeam hence migh lessen the lifespan of your HID bulb/ballast.

possible yan sir, pero mas maganda pag sabay yung high at low beam pag bukas mo ng high beam. (kasi dati ko set up eh separate low and high beam)

kung ang concern mo ay flashing your halogen high beam during day time, mag-insert ka ng relay activated contact papunta ng low beam. yung relay ay connected sa park light. kaya sa umaga OK lang mag flash. HTH

nagtanong po ako kanina sa c3 audio sa banawe kung magkano yung vtxhid. sabi sa akin mga PhP 4800, kasama na ballast. medyo kinabahan ako kasi baka low quality. xenonworx po ba saan meron sa banawe area? ang alam ko lang sa street tech pero di ko alam kung saan yun. give me some inputs po.

Sir you can try Maspro banwe. 6 sets na ng bagong HID nakuha ko and ok naman. Price is cheaper but with standard warranty naman po.

better you loose the high beam kesa low beam coz mas kelangan mo ang buga low beam. high beam is usually for signalling oncoming traffic. kabit ka nalang ng 50w hid sa low beam and stay halogen on the high beam. hids sa c3 audio are not bad naman. i had mine for more than a year na and it's still working fine. i'm using bosch hid (china) from c3 audio.

mga sir baka po pwede lang kayo matanong kasi nagpainstall ako ng HID for my ford windstar luma na model ang 9007 ang bulb type niya..ngayon sir akala ko full xenon bulb na ako yun pala kapag naka LOW ako xenon siya..kapag naka high ako naka halogen siya...ganun ba talaga dapat or iba ang BI XENON meaning mawawala na ang halogen sa lights mo...kala ko kasi kapag sinabing high low na xenon meaning mapa low ka at mapa high eh xenon padin..thanks

mga ganitong setup ang nagbibigay ng bad rep sa HID, sorry to say bro. There is a small halogen bulb (same size as H3) beside the rebased hid bulb that lights up pag HI which is virtually useless! I think the one who sold you this system did not advice you properly coz aside from this setup causing glare to other motorists, the performance gain vs. the money you spent will not add up. Sa OEM setups, ang bixenon means the projector has a shield inside that lowers down when you flick the HI switch, i.e at LO, you get already the maximum output of the bulb, meron lang shield that covers the half so you wont blind oncoming traffic. Pag nag HI ka the shield is lowered down and you get a higher cutoff. Yan ang totoong BIXENON.

meron mga china bulb na xenon hi and lo pero pag nag hi ka, mas grabe ang glare kung hindi sira baka hindi mo mapalitan. Kung ako sayo nag Philips XP ka na lang

You can opt for either the Osram NB's or Philips XP. They're not HID, higher wattage bulbs siya which can give you more light without compensating the safety of the oncoming motorists.

Sir kumusta po pag naka 4300k low beam and stock halogen fog lamps? Projectors po headlamp ko

looks like you drive a Montero Sport. Naka halogen projectors yan na stock, most probably H1 or H7. If you replace that with HID bulb, you wont get much of an improvement as the output is limited by the bowl design of the projector. Lalakas ng konti sa gitna, width will not improve. If you want a cheap and stock upgrade, get a good halogen bulb like Philips XP, Osram Nightbreaker, etc. The fogs will help a little bit but sa foreground lang yan but ok naman. Maganda retrofit yan with HID projectors

Saw the HIDs of my fellow MSCP members. Lumakas buga nila compared to the stock halogen lamps, and that is with the stock projectors. Also I found out that the output width of our Monty is wider than the Camry, Accord and other Japanese vehicles with stock projector lenses. I'm now on the verge of buying a HID kit direct from the supllier of Klarheit here. Is Klarheit a good brand? And what is a slim ballast? What is its difference with the digital ballast?

Did you also retrofitted the stock projector lamps as seen above? No ok na sa akin reflector halogen lamps for the high beam. I just want to replace the stock halogen bulb of my Monty to 4300k HID bulb. Is it really ok that I retain my stock projectors if I will replace the stock bulb to HID?

that montero has an OEM hid projectors with osram xenarc bulb driven with mitsubishi ballasts

what we did was the high beam part

yep, just retain your stock projectors, but definitely choose the 4300k color temperature. cheapest upgrade you can make.
