Tama si Jut. Wala ka ng access sa matinong credit in the future. 5-6 lang yung mga option mo. Pagisipan mo iyan ng mabuti.

You might not need a loan right now, but it's better to be able to get a loan when you really need it.

Will government loans be affected as well? eg SSS, GSIS or Pag-ibig?

Parang hinde. I would think wala pakialam govt sa Bad credit history since member ka naman and meron ka contribution sa mga yan. I dont know sa pagibig housing loan. Pero tingin hinde rin.

Nope.. due to member contribution. Bawas lang sa benefits mo pag retire or pensioner ka na.. sa housing loan depende sa total contribution mo at take home pay plus collateral mo pa yung house

The only thing na mawawala sayo if you do this is your credit rating.

Kung sigurado ka na wala ka talagang pakialam sa credit rating mo - you can go ahead and have your car repossesed.

Think of it this way - whether i-surrender mo ngayon yung kotse or 3 years from now kapag hindi nakabayad yung sumalo ng kotse mo, pareho lang ang effect - blacklisted ka sa banko at hindi ka na makakaloan ulit (whether auto loan, housing loan, business loan).

Good news is, kung kunwari naman yung pinagpasahan mo ng kotse ay matiwasay na nabayaran yung loan hanggang sa dulo, edi hindi sira yung pangalan mo tapos makakaloan ka ulit.

The important thing is ang pagbebentahan mo ng kotse is someone na tiwala mo and alam mong may capacity to pay talaga hanggang dulo ng loan.

at walang advise....from the financial advisor.

hindi po masama manguntang... kahit sa suking tindahan.. micro business.. utang lang ng kaunti, basta bayaran agad kinabukasan ng full payment or installment ng 2days, para mabawi ang puhunan, kung saan umutang, at walang interest yan.. good and honest way..

    Nakakatawa pero eto ang pinaka-basic...

Direct to the point na ito..

    1. Talked to branch manager, told her i was going to sell the car. I needed a computation of the outstanding loan amount, including penalties for early retirement of the loan.
    2. With computation in hand, i went to 2nd hand dealer (they always have the cash!) Syempre looked for the highest price.
    3. 2nd hand dealer/buyer and I met at the bank branch. We all signed the deed of sale. They paid the outstanding loan amount direct to the branch. The "sukli" they gave me in cash.
    4. 2nd hand dealer got the keys, the receipt from the bank and also my letter of assignment for them to collect the or/cr.

And that's it. Your credit record stays good, you get some money back, bank is happy, you are happy.

As example, my outstanding loan amount was 600k. I sold the pickup for 1.05M. So i got 450k change.

    looks good.
i probably won't mind the slight loss in money on my part, either.

Kakalabas k lang nung unit nitong February. Wala pa akong naihuhulog. For some personal reason na dumating ay d ko na kayang bayaran ang monthly amortization.

The first should do is call your bank and tell them you're voluntarily surrendering the unit. Sila ang dapat mong kausapin. Nagawa mo na ba?
