In Insurance, what anyone can offer. Everyone can match.

I will let you know about the discount.

She's the same person na nag-approved ng loan ko, from 11% to 8% (my first time)!

For the mean time, if you can beat the 8% car loan for 2years (without padrino), I will believe your opinion.

I had an accident last December. Nabangga sa likod then tumalsik sa pader. So damage is harap and likod. Initially, ang estimate ng casa is 600k. Which is around 72% nung insured amount. So ang approach ng insurance is irerepair na lang kasi working and alive pa makina. Radiator and aircon lang nasira.

Then last week, supposed to be released na yung LOA. When I called casa wala pa daw. And nagbigay sila ng additional repair sa insurance. Ayun, umabot na ang cost of repair to 75% ng insured amount. So I asked the insurance kung pwede na total loss. I mentioned na nasa insurance code of the phil ito... So last Friday, sabi ng agent ng insurance ko, total loss na nga daw. Kaso I would have to wait kasi processing pa yung papers. And probably magraraise pa ng fund.

Insured amount was 835k which is 65k less of the SRP of the car... Then bank load so may interest. I will loose around 150k for 1 year of usage. Sabi ng friend ko isipin ko na lang na nagrent ako ng car for 1 year. Hehehe. Well hopefully, mabayaran agad ako ng insurance.

Ilang months kaya processing for total loss?

IMO, dapat mabilis lang. Ang matagal is if the car is stolen. Depends nalang on the insurance company.

allow me to share an experience worth remembering:

i met an accident sometime last month nabangga ng overspeeding (modified an lowered) motorcycle ang front bumper left side ng van starex 2006 model unfortunately nang makita ng driver ng motor na hahabulin ko siya tumakbo bigla para ako nahit & run ng gabi na yun...then another incident also na ginasgasan ng bottle cap ang rear panel right side at tailgate ng sasakyan siguro napagtripan...all the incidents were reported to the police & have a corresponding report...

now the sad part is the insurance company: i went to their accredited service shop (a casa in dagupan) kasi sister company nila to have it appraised of the damages, guess what a whooping 59k ang total estimated damages grabe para na akong nagpaoverhaul nun then yesterday after 7 days the service casa informed me on the said cost damages together w/ the insurance company who made the evaluation on the said repairs telling me na aside dun sa participation fee na nababayaran ko may additional pa yun daw 35% depreciation value ng car nasa 20,600 + 6,200=26,800 cash out ko...wow to my surprise sabi ko bakit ganun? the service advisor advised me to talk to their insurance reps. i can't recall the names w/c after we talk i received a call from them a female rep. sinabi niya na nasa policy daw yun at all insurance companies applies the same process...ok sabi ko eventhough i didn't have time to read the policy kasi their been our mv insurance for the past 6 years nun nabili pa namin ng brand new sa casa nila yun car what i need is courtesy yata pala nasabi ko instead of consideration sana...the negative side is yun damage nun van is worth the same ng babayaran ko sa kanila or worst much less kasi sabi ko nagcanvass na ako ng parts baka hindi pa abutin ng 12k lahat yun w/c i pointed out to her but sabi nya company policy daw sabi ko nga buti pa kung nakasagasa ka ng tao full payment ang reimbursement while the own damages is a different story, hay losing end na naman becoz of the crap na pwede naman bigyan ng consideration becoz of LOYALTY sana to them but what the heck they don't give a damn...

theres an option though, surplus lahat ng parts na irereplace & i don't have to pay the depreciation cost only the participation fee...i said no way ngayon pa alam ko na din price ng parts sa mga dealers...minor damages lang sana pinapalaki masyado ng casa i guess thats what you called RIP-OFF...goodluck to their policy...just sharing for the info of everybody concerned...

ok lang sir Qwerty if thats the case ang sa akin lang naman sana magkaroon ng kahit konsiderasyon sa request ko ano pa silbi ng katapatan at pagtitiyaga ng pagbabayad sa kanila kung maliit na kahilingan hindi pa kaya maibigay...i'm not asking for anything more than that and besides i didn't have any untoward incidents for the past years already so dun pa lang kumita na sila sa akin...based on evaluation ang recommendation for repairs so meaning they still have the prerogative to increase or decrease the quoted prices...anyway now i'm thinking of not renewing my insurance w/ them becoz of this, any suggestion po mga ka-tsikot who offered better insurance policy for second hand vehicle...

surplus sir wag na lang, its not that i'm maarte but i'm aware of the orig. parts outside casa and i'm sure add ka lang ng 5k bago pa lahat mailalagay sana nga hindi ko na lang pinasok sa kanila...lessons learned from this experience>>>

cost of repair na canvass nila.
