    Pano nakuwa yung 26.54% ?

    Bale monthly amort : 8909 x 60 = 534,540
    Dp = 105,600

    Total = 640,140

    640,140 minus total Price 528,000 = 112,140

Bale 21.23% compute ko tama ba??? [emoji28][emoji28][emoji28]

Computation should be 534,540 / (SRP - DP)

Interest brod is computed using the amortized amount (unit price minus DP) and not the total price.
Eto po pano ko kinompyut :

Total Interest = ((Monthly Amortization * Months) - (Total Price - DP)) / (Total Price - DP)
    = (534540 - 422,400) / 422,400
    = 26.548%

    Kamote hahaha. Joke lang hahaha
Walang kinalaman ang DP sa jan.

    Monthly amort : 8909 x 60 = 534,540

    Tapos yung Loan Amount mo.

    534,540 - Loan Amount
    Loan Amount

Halimbawa 400,000 loan amount mo so

    =(534,540 - 400,000)/400,000

    =134,540/400,000
    =0.336
=multiply by 100 kung gusto mo in percent=33.6%

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

    (534,540 - 422,400) / 422,400
    = 26.548%

    BPI Emerald was very responsive.
Binigyan ako ng quote (pero for approval pa naman daw) for 3 years term, second hand unit.

yung OMA is 14.37% for 3 years based dun sa loanable amount.
translates to 8.935% annual interest rates (compounded).

I was expecting somewhere 5-7% annual interest rate. ibig sabihin nasa around 8-10% din na OMA. baka asking too much na ako.. hahaha

Guys I need your help. This is my first time buying a car and I'm planning to get one under BPI loans for 5 years with 20% DP. I'm also a newbie driver (katatapos ko lang sa driving school). Yung matipid sa gas, kayang mag-cruise sa highway/expressway na walang karag sa engine (smooth and quiet), magandang handling and very responsive sa gas-brakes-transmission-manebela, and may power when it comes to uphill (Baguio).

    Here are my choices:
    1. Ford Fiesta Hatchback
    - type ko po kasi sporty look but I read some reviews na sirain po daw ito, especially sa transmission nya, what do you guys think?
    2. Chevrolet Spark
    - maporma
    3. Hyundai i10
    4. Hyundai EON
    - cute

Any suggestion, recommendations, and experiences po with the said cars will be so much appreciated

Sa inyo po nakasalalay ang magiging 1st car ko, thank you in advance!

Note: THIS IS A BIASED OPINION. Every car will have its merits, but here are the reasons I am NOT for buying them.

    1. Fiesta - Where there is smoke, there is flame. Newer units may have had some tweaks, but with Ford's recent history of drivetrain problems (Fiesta/Ecosport/Ranger), I'll take on as a weekend car but never something I'll need to drive daily. Pag manual, siguro pwede pa.

    2. Spark - Not really a fan of Chevy yet. They haven't been around long enough under new management to really know how well they'll support their products. That said, yung isang may Trailblazer dito sa forum, tumengga kotse niya for 3 months dahil sa kulang ng piyesa.

    3. i10/Eon - Mahal maintenance ng Hyundai. If wala kang idea saan mo ipapagawa kung sa labas ng CASA, you're better off with a Toyota or a Honda nalang.

    4. Recommendation for a nice hatchback - Yaris, Jazz. Mas mahal, yes. But also a larger dealer network and more on the road means more local talyer knowledge and spare parts pag tumagal na yung kotse.

    5. Depending on your finances, 20%, 5 years to pay is not such a good scheme. Can you save a little more and do 30-50% DP instead?

Para kahit mascratch or mabangga ng konti, no problem. Hehe..

Thank you for the expert recommendation I'm now check Yaris, Jazz, Mirage, and Wigo. What can you say po about those cars.

    *urefowei
Second hand cars seems interesting pero diba pag 2nd hand is maraming kailanang pagawa? About po sa Mirage, what can you say po about this car? Is it easy and safe to drive po ba?

    getting mirage g4 mt glx.

I went directly to 3 banks (BPI, BDO, and PSBANK). The best offer so far was BPI.

    original price 593000
    discounted price: 543000 (50k discount)
    Loan Amount is 434400
    DP: 108600 (20%)
    Chattel: 12257
Monthly for 59 months: 9162 (free 1 month promo)
Free 1 yr insurance but dapat sa bank for the next 4 yrs (roughly 14k per year)
Plus the usual free LTO, tint, etc from the dealer
BPI informed me kanina na approved na.

Do you think good deal? Or I can haggle for more.

Both BDO and PSBANK did not offer me 50k discount

Dealer magbibigay syo ng discount, not the bank.

If I were you, ill visit dealers and ask for the discounts and freebies.

Wow! Ayos pala ang BPI. I'm also planning to get a Mirage po. Paano po yung 1 year insurance nila? Does that mean the first year is FREE then succeeding 4 years *14k/yr will be 56k total, Tama po ba?

Kumusta po experience niyo sa Mirage?
