But I drove my unit home in 1 week, well technically 1 day (signed the bank PO in the morning and got the car in the evening), although the model was in demand (A Pearl White Fortuner V). How? Not because I was special. It was because, apart from the bank PO that gave a 1% incentive to the dealer, I paid 1% extra at the dealership itself, to match the minimum 2% incentive they usually add if you do in-house.

Not sure if you can do the same thing in your situation or whether you would be willing to. But if 1% extra is less than the excise tax, it's food for thought...

that's one way of making oneself a unique and favored child!
now, is (i estimated) 15,000 pesos' worth of incentive tip, enough to insure promptness? apparently to servantguy, it is.
    heh heh.

naku... soon, the casas will be deluged by numerous requests for something similar...

ours is actually in-house financing.

    Christmas is coming.
i am very sure, as in Christmases past, that buyers will want to drive their new cars in time for Christmas.
now is simply not the right time to pine for a new car...

Uh-oh... Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut then... d:p

Don't get me wrong, I don't have boatloads of cash lying around. The extra 1% hurt. But if I didn't do it, the extra round trip plane ticket I would have needed to buy to sign the PO and receive the car after the waiting period would have hurt much much more.

Yeah syempre demand-supply din... Bili ka Chevy or Nissan they would discount it so bumili ka na sa kanila. Syempre if hot models like Fortuner or Innova nako patience will be tested dami pang racket ng SAs hahahahaha...

Need help since first car via Bank PO.

What document allows me to take my car home from the dealer. Is it the ATD?

I was refered by a friend dito sa sales agent ko ngaun. then xa na ung nagaackaso ng lahat for me including ung bank approval.

ask ko lang.. what if lahat nung banks na pinasahan nya for loan approval e nagapprove.. whats next na dun? mamimili ba ako / kami among sa banks kung cnu ung may better offer o lahat ng banks na un e same lang ng offer kc inhouse ung loan ko? I mean dahil c agent ung nagackaso? TIA

Ask to see the offers for all the banks, although expect some pre-negotiation has already happened there, quite possibly in favor of your SA/Dealer. At the end of the day, generally speaking, going straight to the banks yourself will give you the best deal.

it is better to go straight sa bank, you will get a lower interest rate but you may have to wait longer for your unit.

The freebies depends on the car you plan to buy. some cars come with very little freebies and some only come with all those you mentioned if you take their in house financing wherein the cost of the freebies are built in the cost of the car loan.

Ask the SA for a quotation that you can bring to the bank. tell them mag pa PO ka na lang sa bank. their quotation should include every freebies they are willing to give plus the cost of the rest if sa kanila kukunin like Insurance, etc.

    Hi!

First time din po ako sa car loaning.. I don't really have any idea on how to start, literally zero.

Direct sa bank or Dealership/In-house financing?

    Thank you ng marami!

Regardless of income, best option is to go with the ban loan vs in-house. Since may middle man yung loan mo (si dealer), syempre may patong din sila jan.

Reapplication, not sure if 6 mos or 1 year. Better try your luck with other bank.

    Hi! Newbie here...

Anyways, Here’s my situation. I have a delinquent CC, say year 2010.and i haven’t settled that until today. So, I tried my luck to apply for a carloan. and i received a text that i got approved at PSbank. i dont have any existing accounts with this bank. Then, after a few days
i paid and settled my dp in full.

as per agent, i am required to produce a PDC for my car to be released. would it be possible for me to apply for Checking account at PS Bank? i tried BPI in where i have my savings account, and i got denied.

    thank you in advance!
