    Petron and Sea Oil for my Frontier. I seem to notice lesser fuel mileage and a rougher engine rev with Shell.

    On the appearance of the fuels, are they not dyes/coloring?

    Petron, SeaOil and Shell... Latter for convenience. Hate Caltex so much, they're batting 1000 in fuel knock on both gas and diesel for my cars regardless of station.

    Lalo na sa Julia Vargas/Meralco ave station...

    petron and seaoil for both gas and diesel work equally well for me.

    have to agree with theveed regarding caltex. i used to go to their station near virra mall, and always felt something wrong after.

    afrasay: mas mura ba unioil? quality ok?

    unioil dito sa q. ave between d. tuazon and banawe. ok naman ang quality. kung gusto ninyo ng mura sa seaoil malapit sa municipal hall ng marikina. alam ni djerms ito. ;)

    I've been using Shell eversince (but am starting to think of shifting to Petron, hmmm)... my latest emissions test (I got the results just today) results are:

    Opacimeter = 2.27
    CO = 0 %
    HC = 0 ppm

    Sa Shell daw may halong gasoline? kaya daw Diesoline ang name ng sa kanila? wala lang sabi ng uncle ko

    yung Caltex sa Olonggapo Road and Caltex sa Sunset going to clark may halong tubig...kaya iba yung pakiramdam pag doon ako nag papa fill up.... yung mismong Agent ang nagsabi kaya yung pickup nya mismo pina pa karga sa Petron mwehehehe.... kaya laging mauusok ang crosswind ko pag sa Caltex ko pina karga...

    Low Sulfor sa Total dito sa amen.,..

    pero pag full tank ako sa Petron or kahit half man lang nakikita ko kaagad ang results.....nawawala yung usok ko kahit hataw ng 100-120 unlike sa Caltex nagbabago ang sound ng engine ko...

    ewan ko lang kung guni guni ko lang yon...pero from your post guys parang may himala sa Caltex talaga.

    nope, of course not! that would cause serious engine problems for your diesel engine. marketing tool lang ng shell yan, bro!

    mahilig talaga sa marketing that don't really mean anything ang shell. just like their "better mileage" fuel, better than what kaya?

    dati rin ako Caltex diesel, but when i try Shell parang mas-silent and smooth yung engine kaya lang medyo low mileage lang, i'll try petron next time.

    Shell ako dati kasi may rebate sa card purchase , kya lang mukhang paborito ng mga CJs yung dalawang Shell stations sa Congressional na malapit sa amin, kaya lilipat na ako ng Petron
