nope, of course not! that would cause serious engine problems for your diesel engine. marketing tool lang ng shell yan, bro!Sa Shell daw may halong gasoline? kaya daw Diesoline ang name ng sa kanila? wala lang sabi ng uncle ko

hehe nagtaka rin ako...bakit may diesoline...marketing nga lang siguro hehehe
:D
mahilig talaga sa marketing that don't really mean anything ang shell. just like their "better mileage" fuel, better than what kaya?
dati rin ako Caltex diesel, but when i try Shell parang mas-silent and smooth yung engine kaya lang medyo low mileage lang, i'll try petron next time.
Shell ako dati kasi may rebate sa card purchase, kya lang mukhang paborito ng mga CJs yung dalawang Shell stations sa Congressional na malapit sa amin, kaya lilipat na ako ng Petron

Syempre, Shell Diesoline Ultra and Shell Better mileage Gasolines
sa Shell malayo ang mararating![]()
ako mas gusto ko seaoil...mas ok takbo sakin...
kaya lang mas malapit petron. so, usually dun ako...
btw, ano yung barrow and loan agreement nila (oil companies) kung saan pwede raw hiraman sila stock kung naubusan ang isa? so, kung 22o eh di pare-pareho lang mga gasolina nila, dba?
Kadalasan yong mga may refinery ang nahihiraman.Total, believe it or not sa Shell depot nyo makikita ang mga lorry nyan.

and they say that usually yung major players ang gumagawa nito.
as for whose the best, so far OK talaga diesel ng Seaoil for me.
Petron ako for a year. Maganda naman ang performance.
Then I switched to Flying V's Envirotek. Mas masaya na ako dito, added bonus is the mileage and cleaner emissions. In fact, I just had a full tank this morning.
Last week I used my Shell fleet card worth 1,000 (freebie ng insurance company) going to Batangas. Masasabi ko, Shell's diesel is terrible. Madali na ngang maubos, mausok pa. Buti hindi ako nahuli ng Bantay Usok. No wonder they launched the Fuelstretch campaign, to make up for the poor performance of their fuel.
Para sakin talo ang quality ng diesel ng Big 3 sa mga new players. I've tried them all ang napansin ko na mas maganda hatak and mas kaunti ang usok when I fill up with diesel from Seaoil, Flying V and Unioil. Right now I use Unioil Premium diesel at their Plaza Dilao station or Flying V Envirotek.
It is unfair to judge the performace of Shell when you just used 1,000 pesosOriginally Posted by Bogeyman
worth of fuel. When you say Mausok it is the effect of the fuel you used long before you used Shell Fuel not the effect of just 32lt of Shell Fuel.
Shell Fuelstretch is laucnhed just to remind us to conserve energy coz of the predicted oil shortage in the near future. Happy New Year!
On the contrary, I think it is even more unfair that I was cheated on my fuel mileage, precisely because I had spent a good P1,000 worth of fuel. Especially considering that I loaded up on not one but two separate Shell stations (one in Antipolo and another in Nasugbu). I experienced no such thing even with Petron, my very first diesel brand.Originally Posted by larshell
Besides, whatever amount I spent on fuel is irrelevant, no matter if it's worth P1,000 or P10,000. What's more important is the value for money that your fuel brings, something that was sorely lacking in my experience using Shell Diesoline.
This implies that the increased smoke-belching was due to my prior use of biodiesel. For your personal enlightenment, I have been using biodiesel for more than two months just before I filled up with Shell Diesoline, with less-than-favorable results.Originally Posted by larshell
In hindsight, it was good that I only had P1,000 worth of Shell fleet cards to consume, otherwise I would have been stuck with additional cards on a fuel brand that has performed nowhere near my satisfaction. The other frustrating part is the fact that not all Shell stations accept the red fleet cards. In Batangas, I had already been turned away at two Shell branches in the course of one hour, before I finally found one that accepted my card, further wasting fuel in the process.![]()
With all due respect, I fervently hope that you're not saying this just because you're a Shell dealer. In any case, I'm sticking to biodiesel, thank you very much.Originally Posted by larshell
In fairness to Shell however, I have no complaints on their Helix Diesel engine oil.

I used to fill up at the Petron station across pegasus, but since then i have switched to Seaoil at edsa near mother ignacia corner, with Bioexceed nice pick up and less smoke too. Recently i have tried Citioil at Araneta ave. near Talayan, big difference, faster pick up even without the cocodiesel additive, they say their oil is straight from the middle east , so much purer daw, on my 3rd tankful its still ok.
