Honda Accord 1995 M/T 2.0 4 Cyl. PGM-FI. City 8 km/l, Mixed 8-9 k/l, pure h-way 10 km/l. Shell unleaded, A/C always on and most of time I seldom turn off the engine A/C on waiting for my family, average of 5-10 minutes. Okay lang po ba FC considering that the car is 17 yrs old?

    Mitsu Adve 2011 GLS sport:

Mixed driving: 11.87km/liter (Long distance drive: Mariveles-Manila-Mariveles, 3 persons load * 80-140km/hr NLEX and majority ay babad sa 120km/hr, mostly does overtakes on busy streets of pampanga to mariveles and vice-versa). Full loaded when in Manila (9persons) * moderate and heavy traffic mixed, Bataan mountain driving for 1 week, incl. time spent in idling at stops (drive thru), tire pressure 28psi front, 36psi rear, fuel is petron diesel). This is not my normal driving style, this was done for purpose of FC test only. In short, ito pinaka worst driving style ko. Diin sa pedals lagi.

Hi-way + city driving * 60-110km/hr: 16.89km/liter (this is my normal driving style). 1-3 person load.

saamin kasi pag labas ng garahe 0.2km/Liter. tapos unti unti aakyat. try mo wag gamitin 1 day. haha. pero mas maganda sir mag-manual computation ka para mas accurate

    1995 Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 GLXi
    11.6 km/L
Pure city driving (light to moderate traffic, mostly C5)

I find this quite hard to believe but this is manual computation so it's pretty accurate. Last time I computed, mas mataas pa, nasa 12 km/L. And to think this is a car whose check engine light turns on whenever you go over 60 kph.

Share ko lang. Parang makalas kasi eh.

    Mitsubishi Lancer GLX 2004 M/T
    4G18 1.6L Engine
    Top1 Engine Oil Synthetic Blend
    Odometer reading almost 90K na.
Front 195/55R15, Rear 185/60R15 (papalitan ko pa para pumantay)

City driving : 7 - 8.5km/l (light to moderate traffic)
    6 - 7km/l (heavy traffic)

    Highway: 13 - 15km/l (80km/h - 120km/h)

    Mixed 40% City, 60% Highway: 10 - 11km/l

Ang kalas sa city driving nitong Lancer. Papano kaya nagagawa ng iba yung 10km/l?

But mine has a manual transmission... Parang pang SUV yung fuel consumption, halos same sa 2.7L VVTi ng fortuner namin. Lamang lang ng konte ang Lancer.

    2006 Honda City 1.5 (CVT)
    10.35 km/L

    Mostly highway driving (75% SLEX, 25% EDSA/C5/Calamba)

To be honest, I expected this car to be more efficient than it was. Admittedly, I wasn't all that economical with my driving on the highway, but I was still expecting something in the range of 12-14 km/L. I think it has something to do with the CVT gearing, which has the car running at 2,500 rpm when at 100 kph and already at 6,000 rpm at 170 kph. It seems to be lacking a long overdrive "gear" for highway driving.

Also, I'm not particularly impressed with the L15A engine. Considering this is the engine that ricers in Honda Jazzes love to fiddle with so much, it seems pretty breathless at anything past 140 kph.

    2011 Subaru Forester 2.5XT

    18,xxx on the clock.

24.3L/100km according to the MID or roughly around 4.1km/L

    Pure city driving.

Spooling the turbo whenever given the chance. For its performance, the consumption is worth it.
