2004 corolla xl odo reading - 80,000+ all stock

    Tires - 16/205/50 28psi front, 30psi rear

    W/ 1 passenger + subwoofers 2 12" * the trunk

Route - manila to manaoag church pangasinan and vice versa 410 kms 70% highway, 30% city plus 45 mins of idle on 3 stop overs

    Speed - going to manaoag 100 - 120 * nlex a/c on, 110 - 140 * sctex a/c off,* service road 40 - 60 a/c on... back to manila w/ a/c on all the way * service roads 40 -60, * sctex 90 - 110, * nlex 80 - 100

    Result - 410 km, 28.23 liters = 14.52 km/l

I'm satisfied with my FC.. While on sctex going to manaoag I floor it to its max speed of 170 * 4800 rpm for almost 5 min..

I think I could get much higher FC if I drove slower..but My friends was so fast that leaves me no choice but to catch them LOL....

Normally sir, dapat mas mababa yung RPM pag naka off yung AC compressor. RPM should be 6-700 with A/C off and 850-900 with A/C on. pwede ninyo palitan yung servo i think it costs around 4k sa Banawe.

hmmmm..i mean yung fuel consumption..ganun ba talaga kababa ang FC?or may chance na magimprove pa once maayos ang servo?we tried to use idle up toyota kaso may problem yata sa vacuum or what..kasi pag binubunot yung isang hose mula dun sa may valve cover ba yun, e parang kinakapos at mamamatay ang engine..dapat daw lalo pa tataas pag binunot..di ko pa lang natatry ipaservice yung servo..baka daw makuha sa cleaning..help naman if this idea would help..tnx

Sir what exactly do you mean by reading the fuel gauge correctly? I don't usually refer to my gauge for FC computation because imho those analog gauges are not accurate. I use it as empty tank indicator though.

What i usually do is get my tank filled (full) then set my odo trip to zero. I'd drive around until it gets more or less half empty; then get another refill (another full tank and note the refilled volume). So the odo trip reading divided by the number of liters refilled would be my FC for that particular trip. Just need to have a couple refills to get an average FC but still using the same method.

btw my car is automatic --- been using the same gasoline ---going to the same supplier as well..

Perhaps it was hotter on Dec. 30 (or the thermostat was set to a colder setting) and/or there were more traffic delays and/or stops, hence, a longer trip than usual.
