You can get 12-14 km/l on the highway... kung mabait. Kung salbahi (zoom-zoom), mga 9.5-10 km/l highway.

Niky, sorry, namiss represent ko yung info, the lynx i mentioned is still the Ghia m/t. The RS is still a dream car for me that's why i used it as my avatar

I have a friend who drives on free, used veggie oil (blended with diesel, RUG, and fuel catalyst) and what he said about fuel consumption just made sense:

"Who cares about fuel consumption when you drive for FREE?"

Do you have any details/pictures regarding the car? Kinda cool when you could drive for free. With gasoline prices at an all-time high.

    He has these cars:

    1984 Mercedes 300SD 9k on RUG/WVO

    1997 2500 Dodge Ram 5.9 Cummins 12 Valve 9+K on RUG/WVO

And the bold figures indicate how many miles he's driven on the RUG/WVO blend without any problems. Based siya sa San Diego, here in California. I'm sure pwede itong gawin dyan, di ko lang alam what restaurants do to their used oil. And it has to be a specific kind of oil (NOT hydrogenated if I recall it correctly).

Wow! Looks like those cars are vegetable oil guzzlers! Kinda sucks if you have the mileage like 1 kilometer/liter of vegetable oil. All your trunk space will be used to store the containers with vegetable oil.

Those diesels are very good with fuel economy...on my last run with the AC always on and 50/50 city/highway I got 23MPG. Without AC on a 50/50 I get 26. Lowest ko is 22 puro hataw na yon. No such thing as a diesel that has 1km/L unless it's tuned for racing na sobrang taas ng turbo boost.

The fuel tank is 21 gallons din, 25 on the 300SD...

I remember Matt (the owner of those two cars) said he can go 800 miles dahil yung fuel tank nung Dodge malaki! 800 miles on ONE tank and you don't even have to worry about fuel economy...
