    BMW 318d - 11.1 km/L
    Ranger 2.2 XLT MT - 13.2 km/L
    Accent 1.6 CRDi AT - 25 km/L

This was our FC in our 3-car convoy from Manila to La Union. We were all going at 100-120 with bursts to 160 on NLEX/SCTEX/TPLEX. Lots of overtaking on the 2-lane highways as well. Each car had 4 passengers on board.

The Accent is very, very impressive.

Nice! That's even more than the EPA estimated average. Didn't expect that with Manila traffic (stop and go, flat road, idling in traffic).

How did the accent match up, speedwise, against the Bimmer? How about the RPM at 160?

Flat out, the Bimmer was the fastest of the 3. But it's the 60-120 range that matters most to us for overtaking. All 3 cars weren't too far apart in this respect. Pag may isang bumirit, sunod naman yung dalawa and sabay sabay naman takbo namin.

The Ranger had the most power at 150 hp and had a manual tranny, but the BMW was lighter so 141 hp made it faster, but the Accent was no slouch either even if it only had 126 hp because it was so freakin light.

No idea about the Accent rpm at 160 since I was driving my Ranger. Di ko natanong yung RPM sa tito ko na kaconvoy ko.
