I have a tendency to believe everything I read, especially if its published at an official website. To those in the know, can anyone confirm if Seoil's claim of their euro-5 complaint diesel is true, or are they just pulling our leg?
Seaoil's BioXceed diesel fuel is not Euro-5 compliant. Rather, it's a blend of regular biodiesel and a bit of Euro-5 diesel sourced abroad. Seaoil won't publish the ratio though. For all we know, it could be 99% biodiesel and 1% Euro-5 diesel, hehe.

Our '09 Everest likes BioXceed though (and Caltex Diesel w/ Techron). Filled up with Shell V-Power Diesel last Sunday and the vehicle seemed just a wee bit more responsive although I'll withhold judgment until my next two tankfuls.

The only clamor of consumer for this 2 big players are to reveal not the exact formulation but only what we crave for are the Sulfur content and the Cetane number..Yun lang naman hinihiling ng mga consumer pero this two big players always plays on some gimmickry..Okey granting it is really good because of those additives but pls. have it revealed..anyway the Cetane is the equivalent of RON in gas..nireveal nila yun why not post it also in Diesel..Technically Cetane can't have that feel in the seat effects but at least we knew what we are feeding to our beloved engines..

SONMART in my experience shifting from unleaded and even from XCS to blaze or v-power had a big impact in the throttle department. ramdam talaga ang hatak. you really feel and see where the extra pesos are going. hindi mo na tatanungin sarili mo, "may diperensya ba?"

This i did not feel when i switched from diesel max to turbo diesel. kailangan ko talaga tutukan if theres a difference or kung niloloko lang ako petron..
    anong department ka?

we are writing here our experience with Petron turbo diesel and thats my experience, my experience also with vpower/blaze compared to unleaded using a 2.4 gas engine thats why mas gusto ko unleaded kasi FOR ME they are almost the same sa hatawan

and one of my EXPERIENCE pa with Petron Turbo diesel was while going out of the basement parking here at my office using an ordinary diesel madyo hirap umakyat kailangan mo pa idiin pedal, pero dito sa petron turbo diesel walang ka hirap hirap sa pag akyat, parang hindi diesel ang gamit mo,

may i know what engine are you using for the new turbo diesel? ako kasi lumang 4m40 pa so old school diesel engine na to. maybe that will enlighten us with our differing experience. actually i respect your observation. i think its helpful for all of us if we share our thoughts on the new diesel fuel.

Sir, ask ko lang, dito ba office mo? 358 Senator Gil Puyat Avenue Makati?

    kidding aside...

its good to know that we are seeing improvements on the fuel quality somehow...Im just afraid in due time baka i phase out yung regular diesel and then yung mga new diesel nalang na to ang gawing flagship diesel product nila...kung baga parang nagkaron lang ng dahilan para i-elevate ang price without any improvement on the euro rating.... sana mali ako...

What difference does it make when were both stuck on traffic?

nung una, i was thinking they simply raised the price of ordinary diesel and used some marketing gimmick to justify the increase

but i don't think they're that evil hehe

they put additives in ordinary diesel to increase combustion quality (higher cetane)

    the additives shorten combustion delay

making diesel engines start up more easily

maybe also making diesel engines quieter

Mas tahimik talaga yung engine nya.. then mas clearer yung diesel nya and no bubbles when you fill up.. also, my observation is mas konti yung na refill ko dun sa mileage i run compare to old diesel. before on old diesel mga 9 to 10 kms per liter yung consumption ko.. ngayon umaabot ako ng 11 to 12 kms.. iba talaga and more responsive on your DiD engine..

Sir nasubukan nyo na din ba V-power diesel ng Shell? If so, how does it compare to Petron?

Hehe. Tinatamad kasi akong mag-drain ng tank. Caltex gamit ko before, unreliable kasi Shell dito sa area namin, nakita kong nagunload ng different brand of diesel early in the morning. Pero sa gasoline I find Shell to be better for our cars. I'll burn off around 30 liters of dead dinosaurs pa, masusubukan ko na din itong mga premium diesels.

Filled up with 1,500 worth of this stuff in my old TD42 6 cylinder 4.2 liter engine, less than 1/4 nalang level ko, kanina before going to work. Quiet and less vibration ang engine. Moderate gain on the speed department. What I've really noticed was I don't to downshift much from 4th to 3rd so there must be an improvement on the torque curve. 37php per liter at a Petron gas station on Marcos hway.
