Nuts. No wonder I'm getting bad gas mileage with E10. It's also marginally slower 'coz I can't hit 185km/h with E10. Top speed is around 179km/h. Good thing I managed to do 185km/h again with XCS.

Vortex po ata is the 'brand name' included with Gold(premium) or Silver(unleaded), ie. "Vortex Gold"? Ngayon po di na po ata ginagamit yung 'vortex', Caltex with Techron na in "Gold" and "Silver" (and diesel also). sa caltex website.. for other countries meron "Platinum" equivalent to blaze and v-power. unfortunately wala pa po dito sa pinas. hope this helps.

mga gasolinahan sa states E10 lahat mapa VPower or iyong RON 89 at kahit ano pang brand ng gas. di naman pumupugak ang mga sasakyan nila.

Kahit nga 87-octane lang ayos lang sa mga kotse dun eh. Mga pinsan ko dun tawag sa gasolina dito race gas. Hehehe...

talaga? dito kasi minimum RON eh 93 hehehe.

US 87 is roughly equivalent to 92-93 RON in the Philippines. Hindi RON ang gamit ng US... AKI yung rating system nila.

Ang Equivalent sa 95 RON dito is between 89-92 AKI doon... but there's no exact conversion. Two different gasolines can both have 95 RON, but in terms of AKI, one can be 92 and one 89. That's why there was a big difference in performance between V-Power and Blaze before, even if Blaze had a higher RON rating, V-Power felt like it had better AKI... and made more power on the dyno.

so basically, we avoid all products containg e10? that means, blaze and xcs from petron and gold and vortex from caltex?

and the rest...are all e10?

we don't really want to avoid e10 products. is just that its not yet Philippine market ready/compatible. its not yet as good as pure gasoline. maybe.

sino ba naman ang ayaw mabawasan ang polusyon sa Pinas? ayt?
