The additive is specially designed to improve the performance and operating life of diesel and heating fuels. It removes sludge accumulation, eliminates exhaust smoke and generally gets rid of residues and deposits which form on diesel injectors and burner nozzles.

CHARACTERISTICS
Disperses Residues And Deposits
As oxidation increases with temperature, residues form quickly when fuel is exposed to hot diesel injectors, burner nozzles or storage conditions. Such residues brought about by oxidation of fuel parts generate deposits that hamper the operating performance of burners and diesel engines. In diesel engines, a build-up of such deposits obstructs the flow of fuel into the cylinder, causing uneven and reduced fuel intake. Fuel injector deposits can cause spray hole plugging, plunger sticking and fuel leakage. It may even lead to complete engine breakdown. Residues blocking nozzle passages can result in diminished flow which lowers furnace output. This overcomes the problem of deposition on injectors and burners by eliminating all residues in diesel fuel.

Exceptional Water Separation
Oberon A656 possesses excellent water separation characteristics. This reduces the risks of water contamination and ensures that Oberon A656-treated fuel appear bright rather than hazy. No water separation problems associated with the use transport, storage or use of this-treated fuels are to be expected.

Prevents Rust
Although distillate fuels may contain inherent rust inhibitors, these rust-protection properties are often destroyed by refinery possesses such as hydrofining. It is formulated to eliminated such problems by enhancing the rust inhibiting properties of diesel and heating fuels. As a result, fuel distribution and storage systems are protected and costly corrosion is avoided as it effectively controls rust when fuel systems and burners are idle.

Promotes Colour Stability
Some diesel fuels tend to darken during storage. To meet consumer requirements and pipeline specifications, it is often desirable to reduce colour degradation. It inhibits colour degradation in most diesel fuels.

Stops Stack Smoking
Stack smoking is a result of unburnt fuel. Ineffective combustion increases both exhaust smoking and fuel consumption. It also optimises fuel intake and provides the exact amount of fuel required for each cylinder for maximum output.

Cost Effective
This saves costs by lowering filter and filter change costs as well as by cutting down the number of expensive overhauls to clear deposits form fuel systems.
