I'm only basing it on the comments made by the ones who did get their system installed... not a claim.

Best to ask the dealers... they can answer that question the best.

It won't fluctuate as much. It's a "critical consumer product" or some other such political speak nonsense. In other words, since a lot of poor people buy it or need it, its price is regulated even more closely than with Diesel.

Ownership of LPG cars is gathering speed. Did you know that over four million vehicles worldwide are now powered by LPG? - that number is increasing every day. So why have so many drivers switched from conventional petrol and diesel car driving to LPG cars, and why should you consider joining them?

We all know that using petrol or diesel can reduce air quality in cities and that the exhaust fumes contribute to the greenhouse effect. Filling your tank with LPG can help to reduce the impact your car makes on the environment around you.

For instance, LPG cars produce 90% fewer particulate emissions and 90% less Nitrogen Oxides than diesel engines. LPG engines produce 75% less Carbon Monoxide than petrol and have 87% less Ozone forming potential. If you spill LPG, it evaporates rather than soaking into and polluting the ground. LPG engines run up to 50% more quietly than diesel engines.

But what will helping to reduce pollution mean for you and your car?

Reduced vibration in LPG car engines, means longer engine life. As LPG is a gas in the engine, it doesn’t wash away oil from the cylinder walls. Wear and tear on LPG cars cylinder bores is lessened. This means that you don’t have to replace lubricating oils as frequently as on conventional engines. LPG cars are much cheaper than the equivalent petrol or diesel and there is often favourable tax or licensing concessions, which means running on LPG can save you money too. Crash and fire tests show that LPG tanks are safer than petrol. Visit the web and they discussed very interesting topic regarding LPG cars in China, Thailand and India.Hope next in Philippines...

114 km divided by 12.4 liters

    9.19 km/liter on LPG

I used to average 10 km per liter on gasoline

the measuring method is full tank then run the kilometers and then full tank l uli para mas accurate ang reading

Pansin ko nga, tumataas na ulit.

Syet. Used to get about 120-140 kms for 500 pesos. Now, I have to be really reaaaaally nice (super-tipid mode) to get the same mileage from 500 bucks, and on traffic-days, that goes down to 80-90 kms.

Bring it on... kaya ko pa!!! Di nalang ako kakain!!!!

Just spend the entire day getting my LPG kit (with 60L tank) installed in my car. I had it installed at NAIADSS. They did a few boo-boos like broke the check-valve on the engine valve cover (they replaced it) and shorted my park-lights (busted fuse), otherwise it was a clean installation (thanks to the koreans overseeing the installation).

To those going to have their LPG kit installed, just make sure one of the korean people check the wiring, etc. so everything will be tied down correctly and cleanly.
