    I think you really need a kitchen-type LPG tank or something a little like it, not like the ones in the cars. Can you imagine bringing a genset to the nearest LPG station to refill?

    Isang point din na raise ko yan when I was discussing this with someone else - I told him mukhang gago naman ako kung daladala ko yung genset para magparefill.

    Next question - why is LPG for vehicles cheaper per kg than kitchen type LPG?

    I think it's tax... or lack of it to promote its wide use. Also less distribution costs and volume consumption. Example, a kitchen size LPG tank is used up in 1 month while a car (which would have twice the capacity of a kitchen tank) would be empty in a week.
