And the LPG kits you get for your car can make different results in fuel millage. The carb type kits that are commonly used with taxi cabs are sensitive to condition of the air filter and even atmospheric pressure. You can also adjust the kit's fuel rate so it can give your engine it's optimum fuel economy.
The more advanced (and more expensive) SGI kits (sequential gas injection) can equal or exceed the fuel economy you get when using gasoline. This kit seems to be recommended for newer cars especially for engines with plastic air intakes.
