    * sana may mga ff.
    1. Quality and safe kit(although all kits are thesame)
    2. Magaling sa pag install nung kit and pagmaintain nung kit
    3. Makati area sana if possible. But kung nasa malayo, ok lang basta magaling
    4. Good price.=)

And sa mga professionals diyan. ask ko lang, hindi ba delikado yung donut type/cylindrical type kung nasa ilalim ng car yung tank ng LPG? baka matamaan ng bato or sumayad or mayupi. Wala kasi ako idea sa LPG kit. Thank you!!
Greenfuel for me still offers a good balance in kit and budget.

If you want to go all-out with Ford support, you can check with Ford Global City on their Tartarini Kits but its quite pricey. My friend was quoted around 70K for his V6 Escape at Ford so he's going with the Greenfuel Kit which is around 25% lower.

On the tanks located underchassis, the steel tanks of the LPG kits are thicker than what are used on gas tanks.

The LPG thread may be a bit long but if you take the time to read through it, you'll pretty much see the way it is with having an LPG kit.

Had a LPG kit problem recently: There was backpressure on my cooling system which caused coolant to be expelled through the reservoir, especially during cold starts. The fix was we replaced the vaporizer then remounted it on a lower portion to ease the water flow through and from the unit to the engine block.

This was my first real LPG problem after two years and 40,000kms with a good mix of city traffic and highway driving. The car's running well again; Many thanks to Warren of Greenfuel for personally helping out.

i plan to bring the car sa servitek para ma check yung mga injectors and do claening ang calibration if needed. anybody experience the same scenario paki share. maraming salamat

I also use gas during start ups and 1-2 kms and prior to shutting off the engine.

Had the same experience with engine having episodes of choking and rough idling for gas. Eventually my engine had starting problems. (Not sure though if this had anything to do with it.) When my car can no longer start, I had it checked and discovered that my injectors were stuffed with solidified gasoline. These were cleaned using gasoline and dried using compressed air and was running fine again. Another instance of the same engine condition wherein my car stalled on me totally and had to do a top overhaul. The intake manifold had spoiled unused gasoline similar to tar. After cleaning these and a top overhaul, my engine is now running well again. Now I try to use gas more often to avoid having the same issues. A few extra kilometers before switching to lpg and pure gas on weekends. I also use non-E10 for my 98 corolla with venturi kit.

thanks for the inputs sir. i think we really need to use gas more often than the usual start up and before engine shut off.

i still experience the jerk feeling when driving on gas at any speed, mas noticeable pag mga 70-90kph. do you think i shall have it service at goodyear servitek where they have the equipment for calibrating injector * Php 2400 or just have it clean by your trusted mechanic since sa tingin ko madumi na rin yung sa akin?

now i have idling problems again, ngayon lang ulet nangyari after greenfuel serviced it 6 months ago. mukang kailangan na naman buksan ito para i tuwid yung mga malalambot na bakal.

*BIGMIKE aka warren : based on my experience on your vaporizer units i need to have my vaporizer serviced every 6 months just to fix the idling problems. pano kaya maayos ito? ang layo ko pa naman. Thanks.

    Hi guys,

saan kayo nagpapalinis ng fuel injector pumps? Im having some trouble starting the car, I think this is the main problem. Magkano inabot yun pagpapalinis ng fuel injectors?

Also, how long does it take bago mapanis yung gaslina?

I'll leave this with other people to answer. I haven't encountered this problem with my car.

The problem I have encountered was clogged fuel line between the tank and the engine. That took a couple of hours to replace, mostly waiting for the part to arrive.

E10 blended gasoline can spoil in 3 to 4 weeks. At this point, you will notice the engine already running rough and low on power.

Premium unleaded gasoline can last over 4 months in your fuel tank.

you can check with my association mate Kuki of Tartarini. They have fuel injector cleaners for your PETROL Injectors. Check the Auto LPG Installers guide to find their number.

Usual price for this would be 70k and up depending on the tank you want installed etc.
You could easily save up to 35-40% when using LPG. Ford E-150's usually average 3-3.5km per liter city driving and a generous 5 (if lucky) on highway. For as long as you use this car almost daily you will feel the savings immediately.

    Attention webmiester, n5110, eikichi

Have a proposal you guys might be interested in ..

Assuming you havent had your petrol fuel injectors cleaned yet, I'd like to try something.

I currently have a few cans of seafoam motor treatment lying around. It is supposed to clean fuel injectors among others. If you guys are willing, I'm thinking if you can pour about half a can of seafoam into your gas tank during your next full tank of petrol.

    No charge, of course.

I'd just like your feedback after the full tank of gas is finished whether using it has a good effect on your fuel injectors and consequently, rough idling.

I'm thinking it might be a solution for LPG users since many of us might encounter the same problem in the future.

    Thanks.

    kikoteng,

I wouldn't mind trying out the seafoam offer. But I had my injectors cleaned already almost a year ago. Yes the gum and varnish deposits were surprisingly thick in my injectors then. But that was just 1 year of LPG use on my car since the time I had it converted. Do you think it would accumulate in such a short period of time?

Also I don't normally fill up my gas tank to the brim. I just gas up P500 max and this would usually last me 1.5 months. There are times though that I would use gas only on weekends so as to avoid having stale fuel.

    Hi eikichi

I'd really have no idea how fast it accumulates so I cant say. Although if you suspect you're having rough idling due to clogged injectors, I'm willing to give it a go just for the heck of it.

Re gas fill up, before LPG conversion, I was used to filling up full tank. Ngayon, P500 seems to last very long.

Pero, if we were to try seafoam, the suggested use is to fill up the gas tank, put seafoam in it. And use the gas (blended with seafoam) to slowly remove the clogging items. So, you'd have to use gas exclusively for the duration of the full tank.

Which is, of course, a difficult thing to do for LPG users ... hehehe.

    Thanks for the reply.

had my car injectors serviced at servitek laspinas

    >> ganito kadumi yung mga injectors.

    ">

"> one of the injector spray pattern not as good as the 3.
"> >> my injectors taking an ultrasonic bath ( mga 15-20mins)

    >> after cleaning the injectors, spray test ulit now you can see even spray on all injectors.

    >> after this gumamit ng engine analyser similar sa mga emission testing center to adjust to right a/f mix.

    >> satisfied customer. nawala ang idling at jerking problem ng kotse ko...dati iniisip ko na sa suking talyer ko lang dalhin, buti na lang at sa servitek ko dinala. at least now i can say na 95% adjusted yung kotse sa tamang setting at hinde sa tatsa-meter.

Chances are you will need to upgrade the LPG kit's vaporizer and mixer to a larger size.

    Otherwise, it should work.

BTW, when transferring an old Auto-LPG kit to another vehicle, all the copper tubing will be replaced with new tubing.

As for who to do the transfer, best to go to the same shop (SKN) to have it done.

    The following is SKN's info:

    company: SKN
    tel: 894-4874
    mobile: 0917-8993480 (Ravi)
    mobile: 0917-8452456 (Harry)
address: 148 Yakal St, San Antonio Vill, Makati City
    email: skn_lpg*yahoo.com.ph

Just like to share guys I've just installed on my new car a suzuki wagonr "TURBO" to be exact a kit from econogas a voltran vogas plus. And I'm so happy of the results the engine became much smoother and the exhaust pipe even if it's already 3 in the afternoon when I start the engine and switch to lpg there's water coming out of my exhaust just a sign of good combustion. Thanks tom mr. Rolly Bugnos for his work. thats all.

    Hello Zed2d,

Are you using their SGI or the "dual system" type, meaning allowing LPG and gas to flow simultaneously?

How long are you on their kit?
