just came back from GF dahil ayaw na mag idle yung kotse ko laging namamatay. 2nd time nangyari ito, the first time pinalitan ng reconditioned vaporizer kasi sabi nila may mga metal parts inside the vaporizer which bends overs time, end result no idle control.

based sa info from GF palagi most of the clients who go back with this kind of problems are mostly honda (civic, crv etc) dahil mas mainit daw ang working temp ng honda compared to other cars which i find weird.

So far the problems with the Greenfuel SGI kits we have are the injectors needing cleaning like the Honda City 1.3L iDSi.

The 2nd gen Honda CRV 2.0L runs well enough after the "sinok" problem was figured out. The 2002 Toyota Camry 2.0L runs smoothly. The 2008 Nissan Sentra 1.3L runs well but had to go back once or twice for injector cleaning.

My 1999 Corolla 1.6L (NAIADSS) venturi with emulator kit is running well. No maintenance done since the new filler was installed.

The vaporizer's diaphragm is rather fragile if too much adjustment was done by the guy adjusting it. I think their excuse is just to cover their sorry ass.

i really dont know how the metal bends over time thats why i also want to check with other (honda) users maybe to validate what GF is claiming earlier. bakit madalas daw honda ang nasisiraan ng vaporizer??

Dunno. But according the NAIADSS, the leading cause of vaporizer problems is the (taxi) drivers adjusting it themselves.

Parang ganyan din problem nung Revo ko. EROOM replaced the vaporizer with a reconditioned one (buti na lang napalitan pa, kahit after warranty na). Pero no statements about bending metal inside the vaporizer. Parang nag-s-stuckup lang yata yung spring sa diaphragm kaya hindi maka supply agad ng LPG when idle-down (pag namatay ang aircon compressor).

Parang ok na uli ang LPG ko, about 3 weeks has passed na. Let's see... Napapansin ko lang medyo malakas na ang consumption ng LPG ko (down to 4.3km/l, from about 4.7km/l). New oil, clean plugs, and clean air filter naman.

Keep us updated please. I'm seriously considering having my ae101 4afe converted sa Greenfuel, with their venturi-efi emulator kit. Super init pa naman ng 4afe na makina.

it depends kung anung spring yung sinasabi mo kasi yung pagbukas ng vaporiser ang laki ng spring ang you need to hold with your palm to screw it in again.

malakas ata sir ang consumption niyo 4.7 lang? ako nakaka 8km on the average, not sure sa ngayon obserbahan ko pa ng isang linggo. pero since na nag lpg ako mga 8 and average ko.

  14. #3294
malakas talaga yung revo, which led me to conversion in the first place. Gas consumption was 5-5.5km/liter back then. parang tricycle capital of the world kasi ang inner streets of pasig city, kaya stop-go traffic and daily route ko.

naka 8km/li ako in my recent trip to Pangasinan, using LPG.

Over a year na rin ang kit ko from GreenFuel so far no problem, been using my car 80Kms minimum daily and so far no problem encountered. Average 7.5-8.5km/li on LPG on my 2.0 VVTi engine with daily refill of 9-11 liters daily.

Nagkaproblema lang ako during the early install ng kit, na correct lang ang problem ko na erratic idling ng palitan yung coil ko ng tinatawag nilang BFC injectors (big coil) eto daw yung match sa 2.0 engines.

And no more oily LPG contamination ever since I do all my refills at Total North Fairview only.

Nagkaproblema din ako sa fuel gauge at pinalitan din nila.

For me, no problems whatsoever with the Greenfuel SGI kit installed on my 2002 Camry 2.2L A/T. I used to manually switch to LPG after a couple of minutes everytime I start the engine and manually switch back to gasoline before shutting the engine off. This was the crude workaround I was using to prevent that mysterious and intermitent engine stalls at times when auto-switching from petrol to LPG.

Went to Greenfuel >2 months ago to have it checked and if I'm not mistaken, they just made some adjustments with the vaporizer screw. Since then, my LPG has been flawless...(touch-wood)

    Cheers!

To those who don't use synth oils for their LPG rides, i was at ACE Hardware yesterday and i saw they have mineral Mobil Oil (15W-40) labeled for use with LPG engines.

matagal na ganito ang naging prob ko, hirap ang idle ko and hard starting talaga, then brought it back to GF then pinalitan nila yung manual valve sa intake ng lpg, yung screw type na blue plastic valve, di naman halos nagbago ang pag start, kaylangan lang na normal operating temp na (half nung temp guage) before i switch to lpg, otherwise, hirap ang idle ko til mag stall, worse is yung may parang uutot sa system na parang makaclog na at ayaw na mag start totally sa lpg. to be continued sa reply sa baba . . .

If you switch on LPG mode then your hear a "TICK" sound, that indicates that the SV is at open position. If you try your VOM on your battery prior to your test in SV supply voltage then their is something wrong with the electrical system.

Second, if the electrical system is fine, then the tip of the Valve that close/open the flow is not already uniformly flat due to wear and tear. So, in that point even at close position there is still a flow of petrol supply.

Third, this two factors can occur at the same time.

May I know what brand of Auto LPG Kit you are using?
my ride is lancer 2000 glx, carb type ito, and wala na ko mixer, straight na sa carb ko yung intake ng lpg, meron lang nilagay na air restrictor, para ni-choke para tama ang timpla sa lpg, anyways, after bringing it back sa GF, yung solenoid nga for petrol, nag stuck na daw yung piston, i dont know if sa normal use ko or dahil din sa e10, anyways, nung binalik na yung SV, check din yung vaporizer, then nakita din na may sira dahil no flow control na din sya, so ganun din at palit ng recondition, now lahat solve na, no more hard starting, at maganda ang takbo ko.

only gripe is that, nung first time na punta ko, when i complained bout sa hard starting (while still in warranty), di check yung vaporizer, when yun lang pala ang prob ko, and solved months later when i go back for other problem and no more warranty.

sa mga nakapag palit na ng parts which is out of warranty na, pwede ba natin i compare ang prices dito? (not sure if allowed ito, pero just to give an idea how much ang expected gastos natin pag may nasira.)

Solenoid valve (Petrol) 1K (discounted from 1.5K)
