So far it's been a month since the last hiccup of the CEL light. FC is about a little less than gasoline and power is roughly the same, at least in the category of accelerating the car from 0-60mph using my G-Tech performance meter (1/2 second less in LPG).
Do it again?... with the same oil price situation, yes.
I had my Mazda 3 converted and picked up last friday.
So far so good. The power seems to be the same.
I opted for the 60L cylindrical tank since I didn't mind loosing about 1/3 of my trunk space to the tank.
GreenFuel lifted the tank a bit so I can still remove the plastic cover and spare tire as seen on the picture.
I also didn't mind putting a hole in the bumper for the refueling plug
I then had the switch/gauge placed on the left most part so I can see it and the steering wheel doesn't block the view.
The Injectors are placed on the same spot as GH's M3.
The Vaporizer was placed in the different spot from GHs M3 according to Mike. Its deeper.

Wow. Congratulations sir! One of the few with even better FC on LPG. Please let us know if there are some symptoms of "irregular" engine behaviour, like rough idling or delayed acceleration, etc.
Pictures naman ng conversion sir, if any. Also, you can post Thermoline's complete details (address, numbers, contact person), para ma-post ni GH sa LPG conversion providers list natin.
mga expert ask ko lang kase i observed pag naka park ako sa garage parang iba ang amoy ng exhaust ng car ko prang amoy lpg is it normal ? btw my car is toyota big body 93model newly overhaul so im sure indi blow by.![]()

Noticed that some refilling stations' lpg are cleaner than others. Check if your station have periodic cleaning schedule. We have noticed clogging (oil residue) injectors specially from stations with underground tanks.
If the injectors are clogged most installers would recommend a change of injectors and these are at least Php5K upwards depending on the brand. Valtek Italy has given us the authority to clean and recalibrate the injectors and this would be part of our warranty service.
Also just concluded conversion on a fleet of trucks to run on Recycled Vegetable Oil if anyone is interested
Hi bigMike how are you? I agree periodic check-ups have to be done to make sure that LPG filled in your car is clear of residue. We do that maintenance here at our station.
On residue going to your Valtek rail, installing a filter before going to the vaporizer plus another filter from vaporizer to your rail should solve some problems from these impurities.
Cheers!
It seems there is a "small" problem with SGI-LPG systems being sensitive to the cleanliness of the LPG supply. Some Auto-LPG refueling stations seems to pump "contaminated" LPG. The contamination is oil.
Since LPG injectors were designed to flow gaseous LPG so oil (in liquid form) can clog up the injector from flowing properly.
Venturi LPG systems seems to be unaffected by this problem.
LPG stations who regularly clean their tanks are better because this will minimize the oil contamination. Along Shaw, the better stations seems to be CLEANFUEL and TOTAL. Worst offender along Shaw is Petron Shaw.

So does it mean that the LPG fuel filter is not capable of filtering this kind of contaminant? as such particulate matter only?
is this also normal? amoy lpg sa engine bay lalo na sa side na kung nasaan ang vaporizer. noticeable din ang amoy. mas malakas amoy after a long drive.
on lpg, my tachometer reading is about 800rpm at idle (aircon off) and about 1000rpm with aircon on. ok din lang po ba ito?
parang hinde normal ito, baka may leak better have it check boss. yung sa akin i can see white residue sa vaporizer pero walang amoy, not sure if this is leak. minomonitor ko pa.
about the tachometer reading parang hinde naka adjust ng tama yan, yung sa akin naka set sa 700-800 idle without AC pag naka AC naman di nalalayo, minsan nag ffluctuate yung idle, nag ddrop at 400 pero madali naman bumabalik sa 700 with or without AC. baka airfilter niyo madumi na.
I wonder if this has something to do with sparkplugs wearing out sooner on some Auto-LPG equipped cars?

Check the "Suitable for LPG" note on these set of sparkplugs... do they know something we don't?
