Wow. Congratulations sir! One of the few with even better FC on LPG. Please let us know if there are some symptoms of "irregular" engine behaviour, like rough idling or delayed acceleration, etc.

Pictures naman ng conversion sir, if any. Also, you can post Thermoline's complete details (address, numbers, contact person), para ma-post ni GH sa LPG conversion providers list natin.

I'm not an expert, but I have read in some auto LPG websites that it is called exhaust leak down.

To remedy this, run your car on petrol before turning off the engine.

to add to Mile2.. I think this is just normal. Since your car is burning the LPG and it comes off your exhaust you can still smell it. If its very strong like some cabs your mixture must be very rich but if its just a light smell then nothing to worry about.

Noticed that some refilling stations' lpg are cleaner than others. Check if your station have periodic cleaning schedule. We have noticed clogging (oil residue) injectors specially from stations with underground tanks.

If the injectors are clogged most installers would recommend a change of injectors and these are at least Php5K upwards depending on the brand. Valtek Italy has given us the authority to clean and recalibrate the injectors and this would be part of our warranty service.

Also just concluded conversion on a fleet of trucks to run on Recycled Vegetable Oil if anyone is interested

Hi bigMike how are you? I agree periodic check-ups have to be done to make sure that LPG filled in your car is clear of residue. We do that maintenance here at our station.
On residue going to your Valtek rail, installing a filter before going to the vaporizer plus another filter from vaporizer to your rail should solve some problems from these impurities.
    Cheers!

will pay you a visit one of these days kahit medyo out of the way ako. used to refill at regasco along quezon ave. on my way to work * 29.60 a liter. medyo di gaano malinis place with pools of water everywhere. di kaya mag-seep ito sa underground tanks nila? and they place grease on the tip of their nozzle before plugging it unto the car's refilling plug. is this a good practice?

is this also normal? amoy lpg sa engine bay lalo na sa side na kung nasaan ang vaporizer. noticeable din ang amoy. mas malakas amoy after a long drive.

on lpg, my tachometer reading is about 800rpm at idle (aircon off) and about 1000rpm with aircon on. ok din lang po ba ito?

We do put two filters but there are still residues that gets into the injectors. Anyway we do recommend certain stations to our clients to avoid this problem.

parang hinde normal ito, baka may leak better have it check boss. yung sa akin i can see white residue sa vaporizer pero walang amoy, not sure if this is leak. minomonitor ko pa.

about the tachometer reading parang hinde naka adjust ng tama yan, yung sa akin naka set sa 700-800 idle without AC pag naka AC naman di nalalayo, minsan nag ffluctuate yung idle, nag ddrop at 400 pero madali naman bumabalik sa 700 with or without AC. baka airfilter niyo madumi na.

The smell would be normal since venturi lpg systems do have some "leak-down" from the intake manifold.

Hi bigMike! Yes I am absolutely interested. I don't have a fleet but do have an old Benz Diesel that has been waiting for such a development.

Do you mind PM'ing me the technical details? I would appreciate any information regarding a consistent supply of recycled vege-oil as well.

    Thanks,

    steve
