The 300C is a size class bigger than the Camry, in the RP its in a class of its own.

Does anyone here own a 2006 Mazda 6 2.3? I only see a few on the road, but many people seem to like it.

Any updates on when the facelifted(butt lifted) Accord and all-new Camry will be launched in the RP.

i have one.. i guess its not too common because its still to close to the mazda 2.0
plus even less people will buy the m6 when the new civic comes out.
heck.. even i want one if its true that theyl come out with paddle shifters...

YUP, sonata din ako. very good reviews. i don't care too much about brand biases. before having brand biases, one should look first at the value of the car. the best it can offer. i saw a tv program: "the world's best car shows", pinili nung isang american host and sonata as the best car he should own. a lot of the forumers who said something not nice sa sonata has not really looked at what it has to offer. my 2 cents.

I bought a 3.3L 06 Sonata as a replacement for our old minivan. Haven't regretted it one bit yet. It has a surprisingly potent V6, spacious, excellent build quality (at least ours). 0-60mph times range from Hyundai's conservative 7.5 sec to Car and Driver's 6.6 sec. Using strictly the automatic, it's probably somewhere in between. But using the automanual, it's definitely a sub-7 sec 0-60mph car. It's a shame there's no V6 with a M/T. But then, it is a family car, first and foremost.

accord top of the line for me.. ganda resale value.. mas malakas makina compared to maz6, mas affordable compared to camry.. tho sa sports-car looks mas maganda maz6, i still like the accord kasi pwede syang pang executive while retaining its sports looks pa dn.

Our 06 Hyundai Sonata GLS V6 is one year old today. I'm happy to say the year went by without any problems.

Some things that can be improved:

    1. Improve the suspension. It's quite ok on most roads. But on particular rough roads like those with "cobbled pavement" the Sonata felt like it's bouncing along instead of driving over. When I make a hard turn on a 90 degree twisty at 35 mph, the Sonata goes over that "cobbly" part and actually skids and bounces into position as it exits that spot. There's only one spot in the whole city where the car does it. Unfortunately, it's on my shortcut to work. Granted, the speed limit on that twisty is 15 mph. But, everyone always tears into it fast.

    2. The appearance of the cloth seat material can be improved. It looked a bit cheap. But, it's also very functional. My daughter spilled Coke on her side which dried up. All I did was take a wet sponge and wiped the Coke stain off readily.

    3. No M/T. This car begs to be driven fast and it's got excellent brakes to back it up. It's virtually as quick as an A/T V6 Accord with the price tag of a 4-cylinder one. My wife's still delighted with its performance up to now and she drives it most of the time while I'm stuck with the Contour.

We're waiting to see how much it devalues because we may end up buying a second-hand 06 Sonata V6 to replace our Contour.

A supercharger will be in the works later (much later like within a year of being paid off). But, a window tint job and rear spoiler are first on my list of mods (whenever I can find the time).
