For me I really really really like a white 2.3 mazda 6...

A fortuner doesn't get much of my attention knowing it was sourced from a pick-up truck... Also I do have a bias in which whether or not a Vehicle is just a regional product or a US/Japan/Euro/Global product... I also hate what toyota's doing with there radios i really got turned off when I saw the new radio which is ALMOST in every line-up of toyota including the VIOS... These radios makes me think that the car is cheap or i'm getting less than what i'm paying for...

~Mazda6 2.3L- zoom-zoom...mid-size with an attitude.
~Honda Accord- nice blend of Mazda6 and Toyota Camry
~Toyota Camry- only if its the upcoming version
~Fortuner V- diesel, a looker, practical
~Hyundai Sonata 3.3L V6- nice styling, roomy, practical, fast...too bad here in RP,it doesnt get the attention it deserves.
~Mitsu Galant- not that good-looking anymore, already late, lacks charisma
~Toyota RAV4- i like the SWB.
~Nissan Cefiro- after its V6 engine, nothing much to drool about.
~Hyundai Azera- super bland to the highest level, thou features are good.

As of late last year, these were the expected new models(some for evaluation) of GM philippines:
facelifted 2006 Chevy Venture
Lumina replacement(Shanghgai GM should be replacing the current model sometime this year)
Diesel powered ASEAN Chevy Colorado pick up
A new SUV(possibly the Captiva or Equinox)
Chevy Optra station wagon

So far, only the Optra station wagon has been launched...

All Chevy products are CBU, from North America, Thiland, Korea and China.
New models are usually released in the local market only after they are launched in their home market, after the export models are ready and after the orders of the current models are complete.
*the current Lumina 2.5 is a CBU from China(Shanghai-GM), the replacement hasn't been launched yet in its home market.
*The facelifted Venture(aka Buick GL8 in China) was just launched late last year in its home market.
*The Chevy Captiva hasn't been launched in its home market and its main export market(Europe). As of late last year, there were plans of manufacturing an ASEAN version of the Captiva SUV in GM's thia plant after it discontinues the production of its Zafira MPV.

mazda6 ako. may nakasabay akong itim sa edsa kagabi. di ko na napansin misis ko nun hehehe. it was cruising around 40-50 kph, and it looked soooo sporty yet classy. parang yung kotse na ang sumisigaw na 'ihataw mo na ko!!!' at 'bitin na bitin na ko!!!' hehe

I like the all new RAV4... if it only had the short wheelbase. So my heart goes to Mazda6, because for it's size you get a lot of value compared to the competition.

Yung Accord na pang-Japan at Europe. Acura TSX sa States.

Dun sa choices, Mazda6 na 2.3 or Accord na 3.0. OK sana kung ilagay mo yung makina nung Accord (240hp V6) sa body at suspension nung Mazda6, tapos 6-speed manual ang suspension!
