^Hyundai H100. With a payload of only 1 ton flat, I'm not so sure if it can carry all the weight of an ambulance, staff, patient + companion. Notice how the rear area is already noticeably listing down under the weight of those three guys at the back.

Aesthetically, Nice design though. Very presentable. Just noticed that the doors at the back seen a bit small and narrow.

I'm sure it should. 1 ton is plenty already. Now what it needs is a good engine... The H100 sold in Taiwan has a 2.5L CRDi engine that makes 123ps. Far from the 79ps 2.6L engine sold here.

Well, if you ask me 1 ton is not a lot. In comparison a diminutive L300 Crew Cab and Chassis with a 2.5li 4D56, has supposedly a payload capacity of + 40kg than what the H100 can do. Keep it mind, the H100 is longer and wider than L300 by small but noticeable margin.

We have a fleet of 4 L300 delivery vans and we have to constantly weight in the goods that we transport in it. Believe me, 1 ton is not alot. Whats more an ambulance (even with minimal equipment).

Hmm... if you put it that way... But then, to the best of my knowledge, Korea also uses the K2700/H100 (well, not exactly 2700 since its got the 2.5CRDi) for ambulance service. Still in the end, the Starex CRDi VGT is the ideal ambulance, since it strikes the best balance in ride comfort, power, fuel economy and prestige. Perfect for high end hospitals.
